Is your 6 week checkup with your surgeon or nurse?

I have my 6 week checkup next week and I was just wondering if it’s with your surgeon or nurse?

I asked this at my last nurse appointment and she told me it was with her and then I see the surgeon at 12 weeks. But then I’ve seen people on here who said they are seeing the surgeon at 6 weeks so it confused me abit aswell xx

Yes it’s the. It’s at 6 weeks then she’ll book your spot with the surgeon for around 9-12 weeks post op xx I actually couldn’t wait to see dr mounir to thank him for such an amazing job he’s done on me xxx much love x

I have also seen mixed comments about people seeing surgeons at 6 weeks and nurses. I guess until 12 weeks you’re still changing so much so theres no point seeing the surgeon until you’re more healed.

Yes she looks at your scarring to make sure your healing well and asks if young have any concerns then shows you the pics she took on previous appts to now to show you the difference x I actually hugged dr mounir when I saw him at my final appt with him x they don’t book anymore appts after that one unless you have any concerns and need to see him otherwise they’d be inundated with patients for no reason xx I’ve had such s great experience with mya x
