Just back from holiday update

Hi ladies,

Just arrived back from our holiday in Dubai, had a fantastic time and felt great showing off the new boobies in my bikini!

Few tips for anyone going away soon……

Boobs skin is so stretched and sensitive so wear a higher factor on them (mine got burnt first day)
Tesco halter bikinis covered scars perfectly and gave good support
Forever 21 do thin strapped sports bras (perfect for skimpier clothing)
Sunbathing on your front = no go if your only weeks post op

I’m six weeks post op tomorrow (yay!) dipped bottom half in the pool, didn’t want to risk any infection. Boobs have softened loads and I only get the odd twinge now and then. Scars are also really neat and have healed well!

Hey Cheryl! It bet it was so much fun to wear a bikini and feel great in it 🙂 I’ll be going away at the same point in my recovery as you! I was just wondering how you covered your scares, did you just make sure the bikini covered them or did you put little plasters over them orr? Cause I wont quite be 6 weeks PO I can’t put sunblock on them so was trying to think of the best way to protect them! x

Hey! Hope the adds okay. Who was your surgeon? Ill be 9/10 weeks when I go away so based on your experience do you think I’ll be okay to go in the pool? Get away without wearing bras some nights etc? And will I still have to cover the scars at 10 weeks? xxx
