Labiaplasty done- how long will the pain last?

Hey girls, I had my labia minora operated on on Monday 2nd November with dr fiumara. I was told I would be able to go back to work today- this is not the case. I am soooo swollen, I’m finding it hard to walk haha has anyone had the procedure done and how long did it take for them to recover? Thanks in advance xx

Hiya I saw that you’ve just had a labia plasty, which surgeon did you have I’m struggling finding a surgeon as there’s not much info about them doing this procedure xx

Hi girls! I am currently 5 days post op, had my procedure done in Preston with Dr Mounir And omg it’s amazing! He’s so honest with what to expect and it’s so much better than I thought! I can honestly say I haven’t had one bit of pain from the moment I woke up to to now.. I can’t believe it myself! It was really bruised and swollen (still is slightly) but it will be for a few weeks, the difference already is amazing. The incisions are so neat and tidy. I really can’t stop looking down there haha stitches are a little itchy today but other than that no pain, all gain! X

How long does the bleeding last for? Also sorry to go into detail but I’ve found that sometimes the pad can get stuck to me on the stitches and that kills like a bitch to get away. Other than that I have been fine. Sometimes i am walking really funny but overall shocked at how well I am doing.

I had my surgery yesterday, Kim I’m experiencing the same as you, bit of bleeding and pad getting stuck to me a little, and I’m walking like an absolute freak! Haha but I’m not experiencing any pain, am just taking ibuprofen to help with the swelling, decided against the stronger medication seeing as I feel alright. Hopefully I’ll be alright to go back to work at the end of next week 🙂
