    Hey ladies.
I have my surgery on Monday and I have a cold! It’s not awful, my head feels a bit funny and sore throat. Nose running a little bit. Anyone else had this before surgery?!

Also, I’ve bought some macom sports bras but I just remembered my surgeon said he uses the breast band too, should I have bought this ?? Or do they have them at Mya?

As long as you don’t have a temperature on Monday when they do your obs for sugury you will be find if you have a temp they will reschedule your sugury and they won’t op with someone with a temp incase of infection starting I’m not sure on the breast band as my sugeon didn’t use them but I’d assume if he didn’t tell you to buy one he wil supply one xxx

Breast bands are provided babe u don’t need to bring one. Just keep ur temperature down like the other girl suggested, plenty of fluids dose up on all natural vit c sources, plus honey lemon and ginger tea freshly squeezed usually helps me. Be careful about ibroprofen ur not meant to take it pre op but double check your pre op notes the nurse would haven given u to see if paracetamol is ok to take ( I can’t remember but may be ok)

Get fresh air in ur room too to help circulate and keep air clean try not to worry ans stay calm xxx

Not feeling great and still got a temperature 🙁 rang my PC she said still come and they will check me over and see what they think. Pretty sure it will be postponed ! Gutted but at the same time being put to sleep is scary enough without having to worry about feeling ill:( good luck with yours ! Let me know how you get on! Are you staying? Or day case?

Postponed! I was all ready. Saw 3 nurses and anaesthetic man and they all said temp is high but they think it will be okay then Dr marcellino came in and said straight away he wouldn’t do it as I didn’t look good and temp high which could cause infection and it isn’t worth the risk. He was great and so sure on his decision which I think shows he’s a good surgeon as he ignored everyone else’s opinion. Also am quite pleased as I feel awful !! Booked for next wednesday!!

Aww no bless you but your surgeon did right hun to listen to no one I honestly think your body would have had to much going on fighting the illness and new boobies cuts. But good going a week later hun 🙂 I had mine and I was absolutely fine yesterday I’ve not has off yet taken any pain killers apart from the man told me to take two idrophen tablets for ride home just to top the stuff i had in threatre up but not needed anymore as of yet. I’m very very stiff this morning I had no strength in my top end to move my bum back up the bed but other than that I’m good. Look forward to hearing of you on Wednesday too 🙂 xx
