    hey girls, my scars have healed nicely but if I run my finger over them they are actually so lumpy! makes me cringe lol – has anyone had this and found a product that works? really getting to me know, just want to have nice smooth small scars xxx

    Hiya yes i too would recommend the scar sheets they are excellent and you would defo notice a difference xx

    ive been using scar away and they have been brill they made a massive difference with my scars x

    thanks for the advice girls! how long does it take untill you notice a difference with the sheets and scar away? can u get these on ebay? xx

    Hey, my surgeon said the key to this was to massage the scars daily with a moisturiser (could be any type really but he said bio oil and cocoa butter can be good for scar appearance) as this helps break down the scar tissue and lumps. He told me to do this from 2.5 weeks post op, so I did this religiously for months using cocoa butter. I also used dermatix sheets on and off for a few months from about 6 weeks, but I find them annoying cos they don’t stick well where my scars are positioned and end up in a ball in my bra! I got them cheap from a seller on ebay but if I’d paid full price for them I’d be disappointed cos they might be good once on but it’s getting them to stay that’s the problem…

    Mine are very smooth to touch so I’m not sure which of the two things I tried helped the most. I think they need to fade in colour more yet before I’ll be happy with them though! x

    aw i cant believe i didnt know about masaging the scars to break down the tissue! :s hopefully I can sstart doing it now and itl still work, i’ve got bio oil and cocoa butter so will give them both a go! – thanks chick xx
