Hi Laura, I had my 7 days post op check with the nurse yesterday and she said it’s absolutely fine to lie flat, so you’ll definitely be ok! xx

Oh glad its not just me whose to scared lol Yea fairly good there feeling a little tender today and my left boob near the seems like its gone numb…I’ve read it could be linked to nerve repair just strange that i already had feeling there so why start going numb now?? its not drastically numb tho to be fair….Finally had my post op yesterday she said i can shower properly which i’m thrilled about…..Aww Im glad your happy!! 😀 i love having boobs for the first time in 23 years! I’ve slept on my side hugging a pillow. Or however’s comfy. But lying on your back or side before your incisions are fully healed can stretch them or put strain on them so be careful! xxx

I’m now 14 days post op. was told at 9 days I could lay on my back and last night I slept on my side. Weird feeling but so much easier to fall asleep. I never slept upright just at an angle upwards xxxx

My incisions were heeled by day 4 when i took my strapping off!! They heel quicker than people think 🙂 yeah mine are a little numb under the nipples but im hoping the feeling comes back when they drop!!! Aww bet you couldnt wait to have a nice shower, its bliss isn’t it!! xxx

I had a neck pillow (think inflight sleeping 🙁 ) but I got sick of it after a few days, I think about a week post op I woke up to find myself lying on my side – totally freaked out but no pain, and then about two weeks post op woke up on my front and almost flipped out. I did it in my sleep so figured if my body was happy….. I still wont go to sleep on my side at 5 weeks post op but find myself waking up on my side most mornings anyway xxx

Hey Misfion :O you woke up on your front….whoops lol But yea your body must of accepted it. Yea i have tried the side position a little last night with a pillow to keep my boobs in one position lol but not sure if it was a good idea, my boobs feel tender and a little achy this morning but i’m not sure if that is down to the position or there still gonna be a bit sore cause i’m only 13 days post op :S xxx

Yeah I still have to find a comfy way to lie on my side, normally a little with my chest angled away form the pillow. Who’d have thought sleeping would become such a mission ha ha 🙂 x
