Macom bra help!

Hey girls, I’m wearing a 32B bra pre op, I’ve never been measured properly. Shall I get the 32 or the 34 in the macom bra?

34 preferably hun to account for the swelling etc xx

I literally just ordered my macom bra, I went with a size up. I’m usually a 34 but ordered a 36. I also bought a cheaper surgery bra from Amazon which I purchased a 34 (my usual size) just in case as a backup.

Hey hun if you was getting any other post surgery bra I would recommend getting a size bigger but my surgeon and nurse advised that with macom get the same size back as you are as the bra expands to the natural size of your breast after. I’m a 32 so got a small which is the same size as a 32 and I’ve had no discomfort at all and everything has been held firmly in place

I stuck to my normal back size for mine – 32 and it fits fine 🙂 they are really stretchy and have two lots of different hooks so you can tighten/loosen it xx

The macoms you should get in your normal size and not a size up as they are designed to shape to you. If you get a size up with a Macom the chances are it isn’t going to provide enough support as it will be too loose. The macoms also have two lines of hooks, so you can put it on the looser ones when swollen and then the tighter one once the swellings gone down a bit 🙂 x

I was told by my nurse to get a Macom in a size up for swelling xx
