    Hi girls,

I had my pre op today… 4 weeks and I’ll have beautiful boobies!!

I was just wondering the Macom bra is worth the extra money? My nurse told me to just get a soft non wired sports bra but everyone on here seems to have Macom bras.

I want the best for my new boobies!

What do you recommend? Also I don’t know what size cup I will be so how do you know what size to buy?! Xxx

I only had my maxim with me at the time but when I got home I did put my sports bra on….omg I felt so much better!! I’m sure after a few days with the strapping off ill be ok with the Macon on but at the moment I NEED my sports bra! X

Hey Naomi – I brought the asda and matalan ones and then in a last minute panic brought a Macom. I’ve worn my Macom every day since my op – I tried on the matalan and asda ones and they just didn’t feel comfy and I didn’t feel like I had enough support. Personal preference really- I would buy one – you can usually get them on here from girls selling them too xx

Where is your op at Naomi? Mine is 4 weeks away too! ? I’ve bought two of the asda ones since hearing so much good stuff about them on here! Personally I think they look comfier than a Macom too but suppose we will see! X

The asda ones are £8 each so if you buy 2 different siZes one should fit lol I only brought one and luckily it was the perfect fit. There is a big hype about the Macom and because it’s expensive I think it makes people think it’s the ”best’ but there must be a reason why the surgeons don’t even recommend them? I fell for the trap and brought one myself because I thought I better get the best bra post op but turns out it’s the worse lol (for me anyway) xx

My op is actually with Transform at London Riverside Hospital, such a long way for me to go! I live all the way at the bottom of Cornwall! My closest clinic is 4 hours away! Still, it’s all so so so worth it!

Thank you all so much for your advice ladies!!

    I’M SO EXCITED!!! xxx

Ah thank you, I am a 36 though, have such a broad back! 🙁

I’ve ordered a Macom and got a couple of soft non wired bras from M&S, our little Asda didn’t have any and the next Asda is like an hour away (I live in the middle of nowhere!!)

I found that macom is the most supportive and my surgeon didn’t have a problem with them x
