Girls I have my surgery next month, I’m just getting all my bits together that I will need and just wondering if the macom bras are essential or are shock absorber ones just as good? I’ve no idea what cup size to order a shock absorber in so was swaying more to a macom as I only need to know my band size. Xx

I would recommend Macom bra’s but if you are having implants that’s are 350cc or more go for i-bra as it offers more support for larger implants hun. Don’t forget to use the discount code mya2014 to get 10 % off xxx

I was given 2 bras by my surgeon called ‘marena comfort wear’ and they’re amazing! Not sure how much they cost etc as they just gave them to me after the surgery. I personally feel my Macom bras aren’t supportive enough so haven’t been wearing them xx

I found Macom was best for me. I had bought two shock absorbers as well but I’ve since found that they don’t fit (waste of money for me now). It’s difficult to predict your size so I found it easier to select my back size and go from there. I haven’t had any problems with my Macoms. They are expensive but worth the money. Other than that, I know my friend had a medical Z-Bra and found that worked for her xxx

It all depends on if you have right the shock absorbers it’s the run one if don’t fit it’s the wrong size as it done by width ive tryed macs with my full uplift n implants on was days it’s wasnt a patch on my shock ab run my DR Hates macs to he told me off and tossed in to my bag n said this not a sports bra lucky I had my shock ab also my 2nd n 3rd with 450 cc and now 590cc with my bust now being 32GG it’s the best for me the figer 8 across the sports bra is wear u need the support the most it’s proven that zips n clips up the front of bra breaks the support but I was you ide go try them on b4 you buy xx

@kimbarweee Hi Kim, I didn’t know that Mr kazazzi doesn’t reccomend macoms, seems odd that my pc told me about them and gave me a leaflet, why doesn’t he like them, I’m concerned now as I have been wearing one? X

@beakysbird Yep my PC told me about them as well and gave me a leaflet, but then following that she also told me that kazzazi doesnt recommend them! I’m not sure why, but it put me off so i got a shock absorber instead xx

With the mac they don’t offer the same support as sports bra as these sports bra are made to hold and keep your bust in place with no movement as we see we see our top sports ladys from running to gymnastics to football girls with macc yes they manly used for post bra for likes of Breast cancer ladys or other things like that a old of ladys like to use macs to along side Breast feeding ladys you don’t see sports ladys runing around in macs as they not enough to cope with wieght in movementx

I personally can not fault my Macom bra! It’s the comfiest out of all my post op bra’s! The shock absorber I ordered is way too small, so I can’t really comment on them yet! xo

@mush78 thanks Mush, I think it’s doing the job, I only had 325 implants so it should hold up ha ha! I’m gonna go shopping for a decent sports bra at the weekend ready for going back to work next week x
