Is it right that I need to go up a size? I’m usually a 34b so I’d need a 36? Seems like it’d be massive on me ?

I was told to get my back size but when I got to the hospital the post op instructions were to go up a back size because of swelling etc . I bought 2 more bras up a back size so now I have 2 mediums (34) and 2 large (36) I’m normally a 34 but Iv been wearing the 36 because the 34 was way to tight . the nurse said to wear the 36 so Iv ended up spending a fortune on bras ? I would say go up one because they do swell but maybe check with the nurses ?

I was told by my nurse to stay my normal back size as the tighter the Macom is the better support x

Hey, I had my op today and had 400cc HP Overs and my back band is 32 and my small macom bra fits me really well. I’d go for your normal band size 🙂 xxx

I got my normal back size and it’s fitted like a glove. They’re meant to stretch xx

Natisha I’ve just added you as you’ve had the exact same as what I’m having, do you have any other pics (sorry it seems so weird asking girls that) haha, just I’m a 34b now and I was worried that 400cc would be a bit too big for me

Hey Claire 🙂 not yet, as of now they are still pretty swollen but for my body shape they are perfect! Is 400cc the biggest you can have? Also the pain isn’t too bad with overs, my chest just feels a bit tight and it’s hard to sit up 🙂 but other than that I love them 😀 xx

She didn’t really say if it was the biggest I could have just recommended that size for the size and shape that I want to achieve but I don’t think I’d want to go bigger than that really, so did you just get your normal size in macom they’re so expensive I’m worried it’ll be too tight but equally I want the right support for them too :/ so tricky!

No don’t feel like that at all I got one size bigger and it’s too big now the swelling has gone down! I got my normal size aswell and it fits fine now just wait I’m sure it’s just where you’re still swollen you wouldn’t want it too big that it doesn’t support them ! Is the 34 bigger than your normal back ? Just hang in there xxx

How long did you find the swelling lasted for? I’m so unsure about what size to buy

I’m day 5 today and Iv noticed the swelling has gone down but everyone is different. The macoms stretch so I would buy your back size with them but they say for m&s bras and asda one to go up one back size . Have you had your pre assessment yet ? They will tell you then what to do so double check then! Xx

I was a 34B and got 425 done and I got a large macom bra that’s what the nurse advised me to get and it fit perfect x
