    Hi girlies,

I’ve been so undecided these past couple of months talking myself in and out of getting a BA! The downside is my mum doesn’t agree with it at all & wont even discuss it without us having an argument! Another thing that worries me is the money as id have to do it on finance and hate thinking I’ll be paying for it for the next few years! BUT, I have wanted this doing forever, I’m sick of feeling shitty about myself, I have no confidence and have massive boob envy of any girl with any amount of boob haha! I’m going to arrange my consultation with a surgeon in the new year, does any one have any recommendations for the Liverpool area?? Also I’m going away in July so how long do you have to wait before you can fly ect?? Thanks girls xxxxx

I’ve been talking myself in and out for 10 years now! I’m finally going for it and my fiance is so supportive whereas my mum is playing devil’s advocate and telling me I should be sure etc. I’ve researched and waited long enough!!!
    It’s my turn now!! 😀
Looking to book surgery for the 17th Feb <3 x

i think you should go for it if it’s what you want. Your doing it for you and you never know you could come into some money and be able to pay it off earlier Xx

I know exactly how you feel. I had a consultation 6 years ago and didn’t go through with it and regretted it for the past 6 years. One day I literally got to the point where I couldn’t take it any more I still hide my boobs infront of my boyfriend of 6 years! Iv now got it booked for 10th Feb 2017!
I’m using MYA’s 0% interest finance option where you pay half upfront then the remaining for 10 months!
I’d say go for it, once you get stuck into all the research you realise it’s so common and really no bad like some people make out. Don’t let anyone influence your decision cos your the one that has to live in your own skin and you should love it

Good luck with your desicion 🙂 xxx

That’s really good advice Jess totally agree with what u said! I had mine 17 days ago and immediately felt relieved

My mum wasn’t happy when I told her of my plans in July bur she felt better when I showed her images of before and afters by my surgeon and read out comments and just general things from.mya space.
I did loads of research and was able to answer her questions confidently.

Mum eventually came round and supported me tbh I’d kept how I felt about my boobs for over a decade. I was tired of feeling crap and people saying wait til u have kids and do them afterwards.

Mum came to the hospital and met my surgeon on the day she was really happy when she saw them and agreed they looked great. I show her my progress pics and she’s really pleased.

I think more than anything else u want her blessing u don’t want her to be worried or feel like ur making a massive mistake. It’s waaay more common to have a boob job than you think.

Honestly trust in your gut feeling, get a load of research and countdown to ur big day. Ur only regret will be u didn’t do it sooner! I feel soo much more confident in my body and clothes just two weeks and a bit post op and they’re not even fully dropped yet.

Good advice girls. I was lucky enough to have a really supportive mum and mother in law! So I had all the support and help I needed to confidently go through with it all. I chose the 10 month 0%Apr option also. Half of the money was paid then just under £250 per month for 10 months then I will be fully paid of with no extra money given!

Good luck hun with your choice. And remember no matter what anyone else says it doesn’t matter this is you and your decision only!

Hi Abbie I Know exactly how you are feeling! I put it off for years! My sister had hers done when she was 18 (she’s 2years older than me) and although I always wanted mine doing I put it off because I felt like people would think I would be copying her! Silly right.. so now I’m 25 I thought sod this I’m unhappy, I hate girly holidays because I’m so paranoid in a bikini, I hate it when my bf touches my boobs! What I would definitely suggest is to just book a consultation there’s no fee and your not tied down, and maybe see more than one surgeon! I went to a couple of different surgerys that were local to me so that I could compare there views, which I think also really helped with family because like you I Had negative comments! My mum has been really supportive but I think In a way they feel obliged to because my sis had hers done at 18, so they can’t really say anything to me for wanting mine, although I didn’t actually talk to them about any of it until after I’d had my consultation with the surgeon because I was so scared what they would think! but my bf and friends were really unsupportive to the point where my bf was saying he’d end it, and friends were saying I was silly and would ruin my body! Obviously I called his bluff and now he’s come around to it he’s so supportive because he knows Ive done research and I think it makes family feel more confident too when u ‘shop around’ and get different opinions because it shows your not jumping in feet first. I’m finally booked in for 17th Jan! It’s been a fast process to be honest and I can’t wait! My bf has bought me loads of Ann summers and vs vouchers for xmas for when I can finally get measured although i think he was a little gutted he has to wait 6 weeks after for me to model them haha .. family definitely come round, you just need to show how serious you are because I think sometimes family just think it’s a phase! I ended up getting a loan because I wanted a low monthly payment and couldn’t afford the 10 month loan from Mya that’s 0% interest , and all Mya other loans were quite high interest! I got one with zopa (comparison website) and the interest is 3% ! Bargain. Haha x

Oh amazing jess!! I’m so sorry I’ve only just read your comment! I hope the surgery went well and hope you love your new boobs!! What you’ve said really made me sigh with relief, I think sometimes it’s refreshing to hear that not everyone is supportive because it makes the whole thing feel more normal and that you’re not Alone! I’d love to hear how you got on, what size surgeon etc!! Xxxxx
