Massaging?

Girls when do they say to start massaging your breasts? Xx

Anyone?

I haven’t been told anything like this, what’s it for? Xx

I started when my surgeon told me to at a check up at 10 weeks post op – if you ask your nurse or surgeon at your next appointment and they’ll show you how to do it properly and when it’s the right time 🙂 x

My nurse has told me to start now (only 12 days post op) but on the leaflet I was given yesterday it said try not to touch them until around 6 weeks :/

So I’m also confused!

I just had my 7 day post op with the nurse and she said start now and showed me how. She said use the middle three fingers and gently rub in circular motions. She said to massage the top and sides and to keep away from the incisions! I’m going back in a week again so will double check xxx

Haha just looked on my post op info sheet and it said 2week po start massaging them. Xx

I asked the nurse when I had my strapping removed and she said I will be told about them at 6 weeks as you can cause damage (can’t remember exactly what she said) if you do them too early. Then it says on the leaflet to try not to touch them for 6 weeks, which is near impossible when you’ve got boobies for the first time! Haha xxx
