Those who are post op- do you have to register your implants on the mentor website for warranty? Or is it automatically done? I’ve been trying to register mine and it says the serial number is incorrect but it’s definitely not! I’ll ask my nurse when I’m back in clinic next week but just wondered if anyone had had the same problem xx

That’s an excellent question! I would have thought the surgery would process it?!

I’m not 100% sure if you have to, I’m sure they would stress it more if you did? But I thought I’d seen someone on here once say you had to. In the mentor booklet they give you after surgery it has a little card inside which has your implant details on with serial numbers for left and right implant and there’s a website on there which gives you the option to enter them to register but it doesn’t work! Maybe the clinic does it for you and that’s why it is saying incorrect as it’s already been done! I’ll ask when I go back on Wednesday and let you all know!! Xx

    Hi girls,
Further to this how often do the mentors have to be replaced?
I’ve seen 3 surgeons with Mya and was told by one that they last 15 years, prior to this I didn’t think they needed replacing so would be good to get clarification.
    Thankyou x

They come with an automatic lifetime replacement warranty and you don’t need to register them.
