Hi girls. Had the op 2 weeks ago yesterday and everything was going fantastic healing wise until yesterday. I was at work and had no choice but to carry 10 really fucking heavy boxes up a flight of stairs on my own. I didn’t want to but it’s surprising what you’ll do when you have the wrath of your boss to contend with if you don’t! Whilst it felt okay at the time, last night my left breast felt sore to touch in places and it also feels like the implant is looser in its pocket than it used to feel. It can move around much more and I know this because it sort of rubs on the nerves inside when I make it move. I really don’t like it and I’m terrified I’ve ruined it all 🙁 will it stay like this? Have I damaged the healing of the pocket? Any advice would be great please girls. I’m so scared and upset that I may have ruined a crucial stage of healing and I’m angry that I had no choice but to do the heavy lifting in the first place 🙁 x x

You may have just pushed back the healing process a bit, but I agree, its best to check with your nurse – hope everything is OK! What an arse of a boss!!! xx

Thank you both for the advice. My usual nurse wasn’t in but another one got me in and examined me. She said that nothing felt wrong and that it was all fine; and that the funny jiggly /loose feeling was probably them dropping.. just coincidentally the day I did some heavy lifting. Just hope she’s right but I still don’t like the way it feels!! x x
