Micro Ring Extensions

I have my BA on the 24th August at Preston and just been for my pre op and been told that hair extensions are not allowed. Was wondering whether micro ring extensions will be ok to leave in or will I have to have them taken out? Really hope I don’t have to have them out as I’ve just had them put in!

What are the micro loops themselves made out of? Xxx

I’m not 100% sure, they look plastic but I know micro loops are usually metal coated in plastic. I’ve been reading that if they’re metal they need to be taken out xxx

I was just going to say Hun they don’t even let you wear a metal bobble though. I think your best just having them taken out you wouldn’t want to risk a single thing cancelling your op. One person can say something another something different.. I was told to wear my hair up but they make you take it down just little things like that so you don’t want to risk it.. I know it’s annoying as they cost a lot of money ! I felt naked having all my nails and eye lashes removed and stuff but I had my boobs today and it was so worth it xxxxx

Also you should be able to keep the hair with micro loops anyway and just have them re applied xxxxx

I was thinking that it would be best that I get them taken out, I really don’t want to but like you say I don’t want anything to risk my op getting cancelled! Going to have to get my lashes and nails taken of too! Yeah you’re right, I should be able to reuse them. Thanks so much for your advice! Xxxxxxx

I had done to have mine out. Only had them in a month ? I checked with my PC, the nurse, my surgeon. They all said out. It’s says in the pack they gave that they have to right to cancel if you dont follow their guidelines ie – smoking, nail hair extensions. So what’s £400 hair extensions to losing out on 5k boobs. I’m having mine put back in next week. Ithe was a small price to pay for the boobs of my dreams. I can’t wait to feel like me again though ?

Yeah you’re right! Some people have said that they left theirs in and didn’t get asked but don’t want to risk anything! Breasts definitely come first!! Xxxx

I had my surgery with my micro rings in. I asked my surgeon personally & he said so many girls have hair extensions & he’d never had to ask anyone to remove them. Maybe best to check with yours to make sure though..don’t want to lose out! Xx
