Moisturising

Hi Everyone ….

When did you all start to moisturise? When are we allowed to start?

I am 9 days post op.
Had strapping off on monday (7 days post op) but got fresh plasters over each incision as they weren’t quite ready to come off…. So theu are on until Tuesday so still cant shower yet!

So having shallow baths and just dabbing my chest with a damp flannel at the mo!

My skin feels so tight and itchy….
Obviously i wouldn’t get the moisturiser on the plasters….. It would just be over the the main chest area / top of boobs ….
Should this be ok? Or best not to?

@lucy-2 I was moisturising near enough straight away as my skin was flaking off it was that dry ?! I read somewhere that because the skin has stretched, it doesn’t produce the natural oils it normally does!! It will be fine as long as you don’t put any on the incisions just yet xx
