    Hi ladies,

I’ve been reading and researching LOADS about BA. I am meeting Mr Mounir in early December. But after looking up both surgeons on the GMC register, I have found that Dr Singh has more experience and everything I’ve read says to go for a surgeon with “FRSC (Plast)” because it means they have high quality training. (Although MYA says I shouldn’t stress about that I still want the best surgeon for me.)

I’m not sure, but I was thinking about asking for a consultation with Singh as well as Mounir if possible… I want to make sure I’m getting the best surgeon for me. I’ve read that Singh specialises in bigger boobs, which isn’t what I want, I don’t want a dramatic look really because it’ll be dramatic enough being able to buy bras like a normal person, but with his experience I’m sure he wouldn’t do anything I didn’t want. Although I’ve read some lovely things about both surgeons and Mr Mounir gets some great recommendations too.

Currently I’m a 34AAA (at most) and I don’t know what size I want to be at all because I’ve never really had the need to look at bras, but I’m a size 10 and 5’8″. I went up to a DD when I was pregnant, and that looked alright on me…

Can you maybe tell me who you had and what you feel about them? And what sizes you were pre and post op?

    Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ xx

Hi hun. I had Mr Singh and I didn’t want big boobs. He did a fantastic job and I’m so happy with my results so far. I was an empty 34b, size 8-10, 5’8 like you. I had 335cc overs which he recommended after examining me. I told him I wanted to look as natural as possible and be around a D cup. Think I will end up a DD (3 weeks post op so not been measured yet) but I’m more than happy with that. He’s a lovely man too!

    Hi Caz,
That sounds great! Congrats on the op – hope you’re healing well. ๐Ÿ™‚
I get the impression I’ll need unders, I’m so small and not much meat on me at all, so I think, from studying the medical info, I’ll end up with unders – I’m no expert of course though lol. I will go with whatever they recommend.
I’m so hyped about it! Can’t wait to meet them, and hear what they say! I think I’ll book a consultation with Mr Singh too, then I can compare and go with who feels best. I wonder if they’ll be able to book it on the same day? I doubt it, but I can always go back.
Thank you for your reply! ๐Ÿ™‚ x

Hi Deb, I’ve also got my consult booked for BA with Mr Mounir 14th Nov. Where did you start your research? I kinda wanted the option of all the available surgeons at MYA so I could choose the surgeon wisely! As you’ve said, MYA don’t want you to stress, but it is after all an expensive procedure and I want to be totally satisfied that I have all done all the relevant research. I think I’ll be having overs, I’m a 34B but quite an empty one! I’m 5″5 size 10 x

    Hi Jessica,
I started researching years ago when I was a teenager. I typed “UK breast implants” and just kept looking around for information. You have to be careful though, not all online information is correct. But it gives you a good idea. I recently bought a book called The Good Boob Bible and it goes through everything really well. i’ve looked at written information, online information and videos of surgery being carried out as well so that I fully understand what will happen to me and stuff.

I first met my PC on June 1st, this year. I am still saving so I booked my consultation with Mr Mounir quite a while in advance.
I think after seeing some of the girl’s pictures of their before and afters with Mr Mounir, I feel more at ease about meeting him, because I have seen he can do amazing work.
You can check out the surgeons via the internet too – they’re all listed on the GMC register and you can find information about their qualifications, where they studied and when, and you also get people’s opinions of the surgeons you look up too, which can be helpful.
I think for me it’s understanding as much medical stuff as possible.

    Good luck with your research!x

Mr Singh did my BA last week and I can’t recommend him enough, he listens to what you want and then tells you what you can have looking at your breasts and frame etc, he instilled nothing but confidence in me, he is very experienced and my boobs look fantastic!! The only down side is the way he straps them once done with duct tape, it’s very uncomfortable and you have to keep it on for a week!! It is proven to help the shape though! Good luck xx
