I’m 3 weeks post op now.

My right boob (which is dropping slower) is the one that has always given me muscle twinge and cramp. Never my left – my left has not given me any real discomfort at all the whole time.

Anyone else find they get more twinges/aches/cramps one side more than the other?

Hi Lou, I’m 7 days post op and I’m now getting muscle twinges in only my left boob and it’s been more tight and sore than my right boob, I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Xx

Hi Lou I am 2 weeks post op and have the exact same thing. My left breast is higher and tighter and I feel more pressure in it. It sometimes feels like theres a massive big bubble in it. I hardly feel my right breast to the point it actually feels part of me. I saw my nurse today and she said its normal and it will drop, she reminded me they are 2 separate surgeries and said a lot of people have 1 really good boob and a stubborn one. She said by 6 weeks this has usually resolved.

I’m right handed so figured it would take longer to drop my right side etc.
My left has given me hardly any pain at all and no twinges or cramps at all, lol it’s been the ideal boob!

All great advice! The side you writw with usually takes a little longer to drop and or feels more paintwork twinges as the muscle is usually tighter as its commonly used more than the side you donr wrote with.

If u have under the muscle eat a lot of protein it really helps to rebuild the muscle! Fx

My left one has been quite painful, agony almost, when I bring myself forwards in bed to get up, and just generally when I walk around
I am on the left side of the bed and have been picking everything up such as my drink, meds, phone off my bedside table with my left hand so have figured this is why
My right one is great! Hasn’t had any pain whatsoever cause I’m not using it haha
Glad to know it’s normal though
