I arrived at preston first trust hospital at 7:58am got shown to my room (my own room) at about 10am a nurse came and did my paperwork (any meds, allergies ect) then another doc came and asked the same questions. We then got told there was a 4 hour wait, so we waited till about 12:15 and then a nurse came in and she saw what a blubbering mess I was, nerves deffinatly got the better of me at first, 2 nurses then came in and spoke with me to reassure me, then Dr traynor came in, I think he could tell I was upset so he was like “Ull be fine!!!” He then said half an hour…. – 1:15 came and the nurse came and got me…. A blubbering mess again!!!! Got into theatre and she stood and calmed me down, talking about my new car, job ect! Then the anethetist came in and I had to have gas before canula as I was so worked up they didn’t want it to get me worse. So they put me sleep with the gas first, they were all so nice! Then I woke up in recovery! And they were all like it went really well Megan, well done! I got back to my room, no pain whatsoever!!!! After10 min I was Downing glasses of water and eating toast 😀 sorry it’s not the best explanation, my battery is about to go! But I feel amazing and if anyone has any questions then I’ll reply later! I honestly would say though if your like me and get really nervous try not to, I feel so silly now.!!!!! Xxxxxx
