my incision is infected

Just got back from walk in center they confirmed my incision is infected they put new dressing on and did a swab to test to see what antibiotics I will need to take which will take a couple of days to get to my doctors. I am seeing mya nurse on Monday I didn’t realise I had stitching that needs to be taking out. Also I have two incisions on one breast so that’s 2 scars I’ll have .no mentioned this to me. So I can imagine my infection is going to get worse Walston I wait for the antibiotics. Uughh I feel grim and worn out. Xxxx

Aww no way! You’ll be on the mend as soon as you get those antibiotics into you..strange they didn’t give you any broad range antibiotics till the swab results come back to give you a head start mind! Try not to worry too much! I always thought the stitches were dissolvable though xxx

I thought they were dissolvable stitches that’s what we’re all told aww bless you Hun hopefully the antibiotics will clear it up in no time and why is there two incisions I don’t get it surely they should’ve told you after surgery xxxx

They said they are not giving me any antibiotics now because I have just come off a dose that I got given after op I am only 8days post op so they need to see what sort I need. I thought they would of done more as well tbh they said I can go back Saturday if it gets worse and comes through my plaster. I just don’t want it to spread Walst I’m waiting ? and thank you I’ll try hum xxx

I don’t kno ele it’s all blagged me they pointed it out to me I have 2 incisions so I will have to ask the nurse on Monday what’s going on and why I havint been told. I have a stich that needs to be pulled out its all doing my head in lol but I’m sure it will all get sorted. How are u feeling ele everything OK ? Xxx

Yeah mr traynor leaves two stitches in the nurse was telling me at me check up the other day and they just have to trim the end down at the 2 week check up xxx

Really so will i have 2 scars on each breast then ?does the stich just come away on its own after its been trimmed??? xcxx

Yeah she said just trim so it must do xx
