My New Boobies

I can’t really describe in words how happy I am right now but I’ll give it a go. Today was one of the best days of my life I’ve been crying happy tears at how much this surgery has changed my life so much all ready and its only day 1! When I booked my surgery I had already known for a very long time that this decision was the right one for me, I’d wanted it for 15 years. I had never been happy with my boobs, I had very little there then after serving their purpose and breastfeeding a few times they resembled flat wet tea bags haha! When I arrived at the first trust this morning I was a bag of mixed emotions. I wanted it sooo much I was so excited but really worried something would prevent it going ahead. As always just worrying for nothing really because everything went so well! I was taken to my room where I was given a gown, some lovely paper knickers and a pot to do a urine sample in for the pregnancy test. When I was changed was changed two lovely ladies came and did my admission it was just general questions about health, previous operations, medication and my bands put on. It didn’t take long at all then around 15 minutes later I saw the Anaesthetist who asked me pretty much the same questions and explained what would happen, then the doctor cane in and it was pretty much the same thing again only he listened to my chest. Then the wonderful Mr Traynor came in signed the paperwork again and did his drawings on me he was so lovely when he’d explained everything he told me he would see me soon and off he went. Not long after that a lady came in and explained she would be coming to get me to walk down to surgery she came back 15 minutes later took me in to a small room next to where surgery was taking place and attached the sticky wires to by back, lied me down and fitted my cannula. She was so nice! I blinked and in came the anaesthetist again and said “it’s time to go to sleep” I remember the oxygen mask on my face and it feeling like I wasn’t going be able to go to sleep. The next thing I knew I felt like I was still awake I asked the ladies around me if they couldn’t get me to sleep? They said your awake it’s done. I asked if I had boobs and instantly cried thanking them haha. I couldn’t stop looking at them when I got to my room! I’ve actually got boobs and finally feel like a woman! I was home with my feet up by 5:40 so it was a really quick day from a 11am admission. It’s been such an amazing experience from the first consultation with the beautiful Alison at Mya to boobie day at the First Trust. Everybody has been amazing and I can’t thanks them all enough! Very happy! 😀 😀 😀 <3

Awww Rachael they are fab! I was in at 1 and I didn’t get away till 9:30! So much better getting an early.
I was absolutely fine all day, I’m like you, waited 10 years for this. I’ve looked at so many boobs I’m almost blind lol.
Then Mr Traynor says I’m having 375 hp overs…. I’m like noooooo my pre op nurse defo said unders? Mad panic (stress not tears) cos I thought they’d be huge and fake and horrid! Plus, I’d not been researching overs!
Mr Traynor walked over and gave me a huge hug ???? he said the size is perfect for my frame and he doesn’t do the fake look. I’ve loose skin from breastfeeding and basically that’s what he’s doing!
They do seem very huge right now – hopefully not ridiculous or I’ll be heartbroken!
The staff st preston are just fab aren’t they? I don’t know about you but I feel fab? Hardly any pain at all. How are you feeling? X

Aw so pleased for you!! Your lucky you got home so early I didn’t come out of surgery until 4 and wasn’t able to go
Home till 7, been back since 8 but everything all good! They look great chick xxx

Omg Laura!!! I’d of been mortified! All I’ve done is look at 350 unders on my booby insta hahaha. He is the best though and I’ve heard he doesn’t do the fake look before so I would trust him after I’d picked myself up of the floor. He’s so amazing isn’t he I really warmed to him today he was fab with me too such a gent! I can’t imagine your boobies being any less than perfect! 😀 Happy Boob Day! Aww the staff at Preston are one of a kind each and every one of them even Jess on reception! Did you have Alan the nurse? He was so funny! Ive got slight pains in my back (kidney area) have you? These painkillers work great so other than that I’m good except the slight tightness, how are you feeling? Xxx

Hi Holly I thought I might of saw you today! I was just on time we put the postcode in the satnav and ended up on a farm ???? we had to call the hospital for directions and she stayed on the phone until we got there bless her! They knew I’d struggled to get in earlier at 7/8 for child care so I think they helped the best they could to speed it up. I can’t complain at all it went so fast! I’m really happy! WE HAVE BOOBS!!! 😀 How are you? Xxx

No way the exact same happened to us! Well we didn’t end up on a farm but we just kept driving up and down the long country road, we rand and she directed us well so kind of them. I was getting so anxious but luckily we were early, it was all because of a diversion for us getting lost 🙁 literally stayed in the room me and my fella fell asleep then when I left the were only 3 cars left in the carpark! I only wanted 300cc but dr traynor was adamant I had 325. He was actually really chilled out and made me laugh loads I felt at ease with him. One boob looks a tiny bit bigger than the other but it’s the same one that was bigger before the op so probably going to be like that, nobody else can tell but obv I can ha! Glad to be off work for 10 days it’s just a really uncomfortable feeling isn’t it xxxx

Haha them diversions were a nightmare! You probably saw our car we were in a black Seat Ibiza with Lords Roofing wrote on the back? When he came back in after surgery he said “this has completely changed your chest it’s the best thing you could have ever done” I cried again and said “oh my god I love you” haha can’t believe the boob god said that so I was even happier then! Yeah its really uncomfortable. Do your kidneys hurt? Xxx

It’s nice to read such a positive post hunni it’s made me even more excited for mine….I’m on here everyday it’s so helpful and it’s just nice sharing all our individual experience’s who ever started this mya site is a legend haha xx

No my kidneys don’t hurt at all Hun I thought I would get back ache because of my spinal problem but touch wood all good. R u getting back ache? Maybe because your body isn’t used to have boobs if u was really small before? Aw no way he said that to u bless him! I was 6th on the list originally told me 5th but then changed was gutted ha! Once I’m all sorted I’ll send u some private pics xxx

Aww good I’m really glad it’s helped 😀 all I did was read and read and look for implants the same as mine I drove myself crazy sometimes worried myself sick lol. Yeah I agree! I knew Mya was the only one for me because of this forum theirs nothing to hide you see it all so it sold me instantly! Do you have a booby Instagram? Xxx

It’s gone now I’ve taken some more pain killers but now my incisions are just a little stingy but I suppose it’s all part of the ride isn’t it..no pain no gain plus I’m a massive drama queen haha. You’re probably right about the size they do feel and look huge so it will take some gettig used to! He’s too cute Mr Traynor isn’t he I’m a forever fan now lol I asked how long the wait was when i got there and she said their was one in surgery and one before me she said it was moving really quick its such a shame you had a long wait I would of been so anxious. I’ll send you some too I took one straight after but they look slightly wonky haha xxx

Morning ladies! I’d only been home an hour then crashed out! Slept with the v pillow but my lower back is killing. How did you two sleep?
I tried for ages to find 375 overs but there really aren’t many! Guess they’re in now so we’ll just have to wait and see ????
Rachel and Holly we’ve got boobs! I’m certain we couldn’t have had a better surgeon (I keep saying that as I look at my ginormous boobs ????).

Morning! I had the worst sleep ever, my back is totally fine but my incisions are really hurting, I feel like my mya bra is rubbbin exactly on them and keep having the lift them up because their rising up all the time. My boobs look huge this morning and rock hard. I keep getting shooting pairs up them as well. I’ve take my antibiotic, paracetomal and ibuprofen taking the edge off but not majorly, I’m allergic to codenine 🙁 I think being so tired doesn’t help! I hope you are both feeling good this morning xxxxx

Morning ladies 😀 I didn’t sleep too bad at all I had two v pillows and blanket propping me up and stuffed one of the pillows under my back for the pain their, it’s eased off loads so try and stuff it under so its supporting the bottom of your back. I’m getting them sharp pains too but I think they’re just stretching I lifted my arm up and back down and heard a squishy sound :O have either of you had that? I love them so much already & how good does it feel waking up to boobs! I woke up with a huge cheesy grin this morning still having a little moan though haha my arms are so achy though I can’t lift them up and my bra is digging in too, are you using a breast band too? I vought one and tge nurse said I dont need one unless Mr Traynor said so before xxxxx

No breast band. Felt amazing this morning so I washed up, loaded the washer and made the beds! Bad idea! I’m aching so bad now! Don’t be deceived! I’m staying on the sofa all day now. No shooting pains but very swollen and my bra is digging in around my ribs too.
Such a rollercoaster yesterday after spending weeks and weeks imaging what were (I thought) my perfect boobs. It’s just wait and see now I guess.
I’ve heard girls mention this sloshing before when they move or go up and down stairs? It apparently passes after 6 weeks when they’ve bedded in properly xx

Hi ladies I keep feeling hearing a sloshing sound when I move my right arm soo wired keep freeking me self out lol I woke p over the moon this morning them steps on me scales and really depressed me self I know it’s only bloating well I hoping but still not a nice feeling xxx

Ahh I probably don’t need one then! I just saw loads of girls wearing them so thought it was a must. I’m so swollen my arm pits feel like it’s attached to my boob they’re so high haha I can’t wait to watch them change and drop into place over the next few week/months. I was scared of breathing or coughing when they swelled up It felt like my incisions were going to open up! Again such a drama queen haha. Still the best decision I’ve ever made I couldn’t be happier. Ive heard overs arent half as bad as unders its supposed to be faster healing too but you really need to relax you have just had surgery your body needs to heal it’s self. It’s hard to sit and do nothing though isn’t it I’m so bored! Xxx

Hi Stacey 😀 I’m glad I’m not the only slosher hahaha I thought it was popping or bubbling undermeath how weird does it feel lol I feel great just very uncomfortable I can’t wait to feel normal and for them to drop. Don’t forget your boobs weigh alot! Don’t beat yourself up babe everything will be back to normal soon xxx

Hi Rachael thanks Hun I know was just a bit gutted and me too I feel great aswell not in too much pain non st all really just heavy and tight my stitches are a bit stingy but other than that I’m ok n omg I know how strange does it feel lol ???? I’m glad it’s normal xxxxx

It feels like your boob is breaking wind haha I’m on and off with the pain it comes and goes but okay if I can get my self comfy xxx
