Had my BA today at First Trust in Preston, i arrived a little early to my admission time which was at 10.30am everyone was really nice and friendly, my room was ready for me straight away for me to get myself sorted and changed into the gown and those dreaded paper knickers haha!! Wasn’t waiting long for a nurse to come see to go through some questions and blood pressure taken.
The Ward Doctor came again some quick questions and before the Anesthetist came in, by this time my nerves getting even more high and was starving. Time ticked by felt like a life time about 12.30 the lovely Mr T came in agreed on implant sizes and marked me up, waited about another half hour a lovely Anesthetist assistant came in to take me down to theater. I got a bit upset and let out a weep as am absolutely terrified of needles she was amazing with me as we walked down she held my hand and was talking to me all the way through until i was knocked out. Woke up back in my room 2.45pm feeling a bit sick but more thirsty and hungry. I tried some tea and toast and unfortunately it came back up, reaction to the anesthetic after that felt much better.
Asked when i would be discharged said if i can get dressed and give it another half hour then they would get my antibiotics and painkillers and Im free to go. Staff were so friendly it didn’t feel like a hospital more like a hotel :-). I was back home for about half 6-7pm feeling absolutely fine at mo just a bit sore and tightness been walking around keeping mobile so don’t stiffin up. So Im glad everything went as well as i hoped as i don’t really have much luck. I had 325 overs from a 32A, Mr T advised comfortable size and expectations after welling C cup at least Im well cuffed.
Just want to say a big thanks to all the lovely ladies on here who have given advice and good luck to all who are going to have theirs in near future xx
