    hi girls 🙂
I had my op in November last year with Mr mounir!

Before my op I was an A on one side and a B on the other! I had been to my GP for advice but he wasn’t helpful in the slightest!
I had been thinking about a BA since I was 16, I waited until I was 18 to see if they changed and then in June last year when I turned 19 I finally plucked up the courage to go for a consultation!
One of my friends had already been with MYA and said how good they were, so I organised I consult with them on at the end of June I went to the Manchester clinic and met Ashley who ended up being my patient coordinator! I went with my mum who Has been so supportive through the whole process which has really helped and i know im lucky with this as some mums dont really like the thought of it, but she knew how much it bothered me! Ashley was sooo lovely and made me feel really relaxed! She went through all of the different choices and implants and talked me through what happened on the day and about post op care! She knew just about everything there was to know and I’d taken a list of questions with me which is a good idea for anyone who is thinking about it! When your in there your given so much information it can be a bit over welming so take some questions and a second set of ears is also a good idea so take someone with you!
I then organised my consultation with my surgeon Mr Mounir,2 weeks later :-). Me and my mum went again and Mr mounir was soooo nice! Like Ashley- he made me feel really relaxed! After an examination he told me that I had scoliosis which was causing the different shape and size of them. It’s a slight curve in the spine, mine is hardly noticeable but it makes one shoulder slit, higher then the other making one side of my rib cage more forward than the other making one look bigger! I was suprised because my GP didn’t even notice this! He advised that I had two different sized implants and I ended up going for 365 and 380cc naturelle! After my consultation with Mr Mounir I knew that MYA was the right place for me, some people like t go to different surgeons first but it just felt right! I booked my op for the 27th of November and I was so excited!!
Ashley had given me her mobile number and said I could phone or text her at any time! It was really nice to know there was someone there to ask questions and talk to at any point! 🙂
A week before my op I went for my pre op check with the nurse at the Manchester clinic who took my blood pressure and things and made sure I didn’t have any more worries or questions before my op.
I had my op at the first trust hospital in Preston, and on the morning of my operation I wasn’t nervous at all, just sooooooo excited!!!! I got there with my mum and the nurse was really friendly and chatty and again made me feel really relaxed, I was taken to my own room with my own bathroom and tv! The anaesthetist came and spoke to me and took my blood pressure and heart rate before the op and Mr Mounir also came to draw on me and talk to me! I still didn’t feel nervous at all! I was due to go down to theatre at half 12 and it came round really quick after watching a few episodes of jezza ! Hahaha!
Once I got down to theatre they put a cannula in my hand, which I was dreading because I hate needles! But it didn’t hurt at all! Before I knew it I was back in my room waking up from the anaesthetic! That is how quick it was! It was the best feeling ever looking down!! Ill never forget that! I was only a day patient and I live 2 hours away from Preston so I got a hotel which was straight across the road from the hospital! They gave me some anti biotics and codeine and I went to the hotel about 4 o clock! The morning after, I’m not going to lie, I was in agony! My mum had to help me sit up and go to the toilet and things, but I set off home about 10 and got straight into bed!
I took two weeks off work because I’m a vet nurse so I didn’t think wrestling with big dogs would be a good idea haha! After the first week I felt loads better but still a bit sore!
They were like rocks for the first few weeks but as the weeks went by they slowly dropped and started to look more natural! I had overs by the way! I went for my post op checks and everything was fine! Ashleyrang me two days after my op aswell to see how I was doing which I thought was really nice!
Postop my scars were a bit bumpy but Mr Mounir advised that I massage them with bio oil which has really helped! I started to get a few stretch marks aswell and bio oil and sun beds has completely got rid of them!

To pay for the op I went through 121 finance who have been really good and they are very organised!

6 months later and I’m still as happy as the day I got the op! They are perfect and I can honestly say I couldn’t of asked for a better experience!! Before my op I couldn’t wear low cut tops, I was wearing extra padding in one side to make them look equal and on girls holidays I hated wearing a bikini! But now I’m going to benicassim music festival in July in spain and I can’t wait to wear a bikini and show them off, I’ve completely changed as a person and I’m so happy!!

Thanks MYA, Mr Mounir and Ashley!!
