So yesterday was my boobie day at Fitzroy with Dr marcellino.
    I was a 34B, size 10, 8st8lbs, 5ft3 wanting to achieve DD.
I was either having 400,425,450cc but dr marcellino ended up giving me 425cc which I’m happy with and already love.
My admission time was 9:30 as soon as I got to the ward I changed into my lovey granny gown and nickers and popped my under the knee socks on. I was given my name band and my allergy band (penicillin) and was left to watching this morning 🙂
The anesatist came round, he is so lovely and actually he took my bloods for my pre op as I have super deep crap veins (took 5 attempts to get the blood). He asked me some questions and told me what he would be doing when it was my turn to go down. At 12:15 they came and got me, I put my netted hat on and kissed my fiancé goodbye (got a bit choked up leaving him). I was sat in a room just next to the operating room for 10 mins and then eventually was taken in. I was talking to one of the nurses about my kids and wedding (this November). The anesatist put the butterfly in my hand which was just a small scratch and didn’t bother me. The nurse then put a mask over my face which made me feel like I couldn’t breathe so I said oh no I don’t like that at all. She smiled and said think of the Maldives (my honeymoon destination). I could fee the cold fluid going up my arm and before I knew it I was looking at the clock and it said 1:50. It was then I realised it was all done, so fast! I kept falling back to sleep but wanted to be awake so was forcing myself to stay awake.
My teeth were chuttering so much it was hurting my boobs but I just could not stop shivering and I wasn’t even cold. It was just a side affect from the anaesthetic. I put my tongue between my teeth which stopped it eventually the more I came round aswell. I also noticed I was tensed up so once I relaxed and dropped my shoulders down I wasn’t actually in any pain. My fiancé came in at that point so I again kept trying to stay awake for his sake. I hadn’t really looked at my boobs so I had a quick snoop and already love them 🙂
I hve strapping on apart from over my nipples which are super numb. I have to say the strapping isn’t as bad as I thought, I’m actually comfortable and feel the strapping is definitely a good support as well as my sports bra.
Anyway, had my drains taken out just before I left and even though I felt it, it didn’t hurt. Some people have said it feels like a worm being pulled out but I honestly didn’t feel like that so everyone’s different. Dr marcellino popped in to see me and said they’re a lovely size for me and he ripped my strapping down my cleavage to check swelling and he said perfect and off he went.
He is honestly the loveliest man and I felt I trusted him 100%.
Overall tha day was great, Everyone was lovely and helpful.
I was sharing a room with someone id already been speaking to on here so that was nice to.
I left the hospital at 7pm and was home by 8, the car journey was fine but I didn’t rest the seatbelt over them.
I slept upright all night with a big back cushion off my sofa and a neck pillow and other than waking for he toilet once, I was fine. I had a sore back waking up but the pain killers stopped that. Missing having cuddles with my babies but I’m sure it won’t be long until I get back to normal. I managed to make my daughters breakfast and put the baby’s bottles on so so far so good.
So that’s it for me, all done and dusted, now time to recover ☺️

One bit of advice though, don’t think just because someone else had a bad time or experienced pain with certain things, that you will. I was petrified for the drains but it was nothing to worry about. Take every step as it comes and enjoy your day☺️

    Mr Marcellino is lush.
I had my surgery with him on the 9th.
The day after my surgery wasn’t too bad but yesterday was by far the worst day so far.
I must have cried at least 6 times yesterday and the sickness was next level.
I find it better when I am moving around. I try and get up and walk around as it takes the pressure away.
    The strapping is horrible.
Hope you are doing well? X

    Hey Emma??
Good Lisa and jade, you’ll be fine. You’ll be on the other side before you know it.
Dr marcellino really is lovely I’m doing good thank you.
Nurse has just called to check on me and I mentioned I’m able to move my arms quite a bit and do a few things for myself. She said not to, and to try and keep my arms fairly still for the first week as it could cause a bleed or to interrupt with my healing. I thought it would be best to keep moving my arms but apparently not.
Wanting to go out today, just over to my nans but family keep saying not to :/
It’s to sunny to sit in my flat though x
