MYA – NHS and surgeons HELP xx

Morning Ladies,
I went to the doctors last night Ask about BA and surgeons and my GP said to go with surgeons that work on the NHS like using bupa and spire; and maybe I should use places like mya :S 🙁
Dont really no why they would say that?? feel abit gutted had my heart set on MYA. Do you think i should listen to them or stick to my guns??

Nooooooo there are plenty of ladies (this website proves it) that have used surgeons from MYA and even other places and they have had a fantastic result and no cock ups……I’m surprised you have been told that cause I went to Doc before I had BA when I was researching and she said they don’t really recommend any surgeons as it’s down to the individual and their preference etc…Yes stick to your guns babe xx

That’s a bit odd y he would say that, maybe because you will be putting money into the NHS? I personally after having a few consultations elsewhere over the years mya always come up trumps, especially with their after care. just my thoughts. but you have too do what’s right for you at the end of the day, xxx

I agree with dawn, I researched quite a few different places + always went back to mya. I had my ba done yesterday at Highgate + I couldn’t rate the staff high enough there. But at the end of the day it is personal preference x x

Thats true and completely understand and think thats were my doctor was coming from but the surgeon with mya n companies like them have surgeons that do BAs everyday and have more experience x
