Mya / Transform

Hi, I have recently had a PC consultation and a surgeon consultation with Mya and although was very happy with them got abit worried that maybe I should shop around before makin such a big decision so have booked to go for a consultation with Transform as well to compare the two .. Does anyone have any reviews for either that might help me? Xx

I am going through the exact same thing as you right now, i’ve been thinking of shopping around to see which place i would prefer. its out of MYA and transform, the only thing that is letting transform down for me is the aftercare package i think MYAs might be better, but i have heard good things about both companies, so its a hard decision. I haven’r booked in with Transform for a consultation yet, but would love to hear how yours went & how you felt.. I spoke to one girl who had hers done through transform, she said she preferred them over MYA.

Ive had a consultation with mya and transform.. Im waiting for surgeons consultations for both now! Transform seem to be abit more organised and the woman who I had my consultation with gave me alot more information than I was given at mya! and she seemed to know her stuff. Im waiting to see what both surgeons say and then Im going to pick one! The only thing that is worrying me about transform is that the warranty on the implants doesnt cover rippling etc, it only covers severe CC and rupture. So it scares me that you might end up with one bad boob and they wont replace it for you. hmm decisions!! xxx

Ah so much to consider!!! Yeah the surgeon for MYA told me that they don’t cover rippling ether :S .. Yeah my PC was dead helpful with MYA but the surgeon seemed very rushed and not too friendly lol! So going to see both then compare .. Will keep you posted 🙂 xx

oh really?! I thought mya covered that too.. Yeah definitely keep us updated, I have my transform consultation on 1st oct. Ive searched the web and cannot find a bad word about transform! xx

Well ill double check the papers he gave me but pretty sure he said they don’t cover for it because my boyfriend mentioned it to me after. (He came with me) .. Scary!! No just shame transform don’t have one of these forums so helpful! But yep will let you know how it goes on Saturday 🙂 xx

I had a consultation with both but opted for MYA. Transform put me off when they mentioned the cost within 5 mins of being there and must have told me at least a dozen times that i would need to pay the deposit immediately if I wanted to secure the day!! x

It depends what implants you have if it covers you for rippling or not with mya I think xx

I think the natrelle life time guarantee ones do but not 100%. When I met my surgeon he went through all the things I could have a re op for and rippling was one of them x

That’s the ones I’ve had . I don’t remember my surgon discussing what could go wrong with me . Funny how they all so things diffrent . I’m just panicking about everything to day lol x

Each surgeon is different tho Hun. I’ve just googled what you can have a re op for with the natrelle lifetime ones and it says that rippling isn’t something you can have one for. So maybe he got it wrong. I really don’t know haha! Don’t worry everything will be fine. I try not too look into anything or worry too much. Your surgeon won’t have offered you the size if they thought you would ripple from it 🙂 x

Yeah in goin for the naturelle implants and don’t thinly ere covered of rippling :-(!! Oh well can’t worry too much otherwise will put me off lol xx

heyy girls just so you all know! if you get rippling a re-opp does not get rid of it, only way to do so is to have a fat transfer or put weight on! as rippling is caused if your skin is to thin or the implants are too big hope this helps xx

I chose MYA!! I heard nothing but bad things about transform and the horror stories from people who went with them..all companies have good and bad though xx

same also woman who did my consultation at transform manchester didnt give a good impression (to fake) not a look i wanted to go for so kinda put me off them, been soooooo happy with mya roll on 30th september!! xx

I went with Mya, I had consultation with transform, surgeon came across really rude & pc was probs abit to honest for her own good by telling me she went to Belgium to have her boobs done as its so much cheaper! This made me wonder when ur working for a cosmetic company why wouldn’t u go with them urself & why would u tell someone this who is there having a consultation. It would of been a lot easier for me to go with transform as there 10 mins away from me but Mya is 2 hours!! I’d heard the aftercare wasn’t great with transform as well but to be honest it’s been pretty shocking with Mya! Good luck girls x

MYA wins hands down! I had my ba with them on 15th June and soo happy i went with them. My experience has been amazing throughout I seen my surgeon for my final check yesterday an I’m over the moon! I had consultations with surgeons from My Breast, Transform and MYA and chose MYA immediately! My friemd got hers done the same time as me with MYA, at her consultation with a Transform surgeon he told her she would need a nipple lift, she was so confused and couldnt afford it so she went to MYA this was never mentioned now she has perfect boobs no need at all for nipple lift she was so angry yesterday after seeing MYA surgeon for final
post op check and knowing they were perfect that had she been with transform she would have had an unmecessary nipple lift. Do your research girls and shop around i know i made the best decision xx

i’d choose MYA all the way! i didn’t even go anywhere else for options i was so comfortable with them – this was mainly to do with my original PC Hollie Green, she was so fab! I did enquire and receive brochures from mybreast and transform but i never received a call from them after. I have to admit i have had problems with my implants, BUT i have had great support from MYA and all though at times their aftercare has been slow they have always come through and helped me. The surgeon im having has been reassuring and informative and the hospitals they use are 100%; the nurses are fab and comforting! i’m glad i chose them for my op. x

Yep good to hear all of the opinions so will go to Transform on Saturday and then go with my gut feeling I think! 🙂 thanks everyone for your advice!! Xx

Defo go with Mya, Transform medical are awful,they took 4 grand off me(very pushy) and then cancelled my surgery and they said i have to pay another 1 grand to get a new date! something sounds dodgy, this is the finchley(london) clinic,i am infuriated!x
