    Hi girls,
just wondering if anyone wore nail varnish or shellac on the day of their surgery? I know you’re not allowed false nails but doesnt say anything about standard varnish or gel xxx

Your not allowed anything Hun! Your nail colour is one of the first signs of a lack of oxygen x

Ohhhh… I thought they said that in case you somehow chipped it off and got it in the wound. Duh! Your reason make much more sense xxx

I’ve just had my op. Shellac and gelish are fine, nail varnish you have to remove xoxo

I had to take my fresh from the salon one day old gels off as I had assumed gel would be ok but you can’t wear anything on feet or hands.

How unfortunate. Miss Grob let me leave my gelish on, although it was just a french manicure so they could still see the colour of my natural nail underneath! xoxo
