So over the last few days I’ve got really dry skin on my boobs but more so on my nipples. I’m 3 weeks post op today, does anybody know if I can use moisturiser or do I have to wait till 6 weeks?
Hey Codie, the nurse told me nothing on my incisions until our 6 week po appointment where she will review and advise me further. As regards the boobs I’ve very very carefully just rubbed some moisturiser on the top half- avoiding the bottom half near the incisions. She said you need to be careful as they see a lot of infections at this stage because people have used products xx
@Codie, my nurse told me from the start that I can put cocobutter on my boobs but nothing on the incisions. The incisions need to be dry, dry, dry.
I’ve been creaming them since day 1 which has helped get rid of the strapping glue and putting arnica cream near my incisions where I’m bruised but not on the incisions. All good, not infected at all. xx
