NERVOUS OP ON 9TH JUNE!

Girls I’m so nervous! It’s only just kicked in. Can anyone tell me what to expect please! My admission time is at 11am xx

Hey chic, the day will go sooo fast you wont even think about being nervous! When you arrive youll change into your gown, sassy paper knickers, stockings an hair net. You’ll be asked to do a pregnancy test, have your blood pressure, weight an height taken, the nurses will be popping in an out of your room, along with your surgeon an anesthetist, you’ll be absoloutley fine, next thing you know you’ll be waking up with your newbies!! hideous paper knickers!! ? my admission was 9am and i went down just after 1 so bring magazines and books to pass the time. there is a tv in your room though which has a decent amount of channels! they’ll weigh you again and do height, go through a form of allergies and other bits and pieces. then your surgeon will come and draw on you and explain what’s going to happen, along with the anaesthetist. you’ll walk down to your surgery room which i found quite scary but it was fine once i was lying down and relaxed. it’ll all go by so quickly 🙂 xx

God I was so nervous! Got myself into a bit of a state the few days before. My admission time was 2pm, the morning dragged sooooo much before we had to set off. Once we got to the hospital it all went so fast and everyone is really really lovely, they make you feel so relaxed, I even managed a snooze while I was waiting for my turn! But seriously Hun, you have nothing at all to worry about, first day of your new life with boobies!! One of my bloke mates that’s a paramedic said “it’s fine, you’ll get a scratch on your hand, go to sleep, wake up with cans, simple” and he was right! Try enjoy it, I’d love to do it all again, it’s been the best experience ever xx

Thanks girls! I’m dreading the paper knickers? I’m hoping it’s not a long day, does the surgeon come into your room and draw on you or does he take you into a different room to do it? Is there any hotels close to the trust hospital as my mum wants to book a room just incase I’m bad afterwards I’ve said I don’t think I will be as I’m having overs and apparently there not as painful thanks again girls will put pics on after:) xxx

The hotel me and my cousin have booked for the night is the ibis which is 10 minutes away from the hospital, so not far at all Hun, I am in the same date as you. Excited and nervous… Have you had your admission time yet? I’m in at 8.00am hoping not to wait too long. Xxx

Thank you will let my mum know:) I’d rather be at home in my own bed but depends on how I feel, yeah my admission time is 11am! Hoping I’m not waiting too long as nerves will kick in really bad I think, just got to think at the end of it we’ll have a new pair of boobies, Amina you’ll have to message me and let me know how you get on ? have you brought anymore sports bras other then the Macom one? I can’t find any with a zip or clips up the front and don’t fancy spending loads on them?xxx

My admission time was 11 2 weeks ago I had overs and felt fine no pain, had surgery at 3 and went home at 7.30 Good luck X

I’m in my private room now and my sexy gown and paper knickers, nurse told me I’ve got a 2 hour wait yet! I’m starving too! She just come in and asked what I wanted after surgery. Good luck to you all:) xxx

Ah how exciting, I’m sharing a room with another girl and she is currently in surgery but her admission tkme was 2 hours before mine so I don’t know, none of the nurses seem to know so I guess it’s just a waiting game for now ahahah. Was told an hour when I first came in but been here 2 hours already, ah well will be worth the wait!!! Good luck girls xx

Such a long day but finally got boobs!!! On way home now, anyone in a lot of pain from the op? I was proper over thinking it, only a slight bit of pain xxx

I have just booked my boobs today and having my op the 14Th of July and reading this has made me a lot calmer! I’m scared of needles, how did it feel? did they numb it? xx

Hey lottie, I was proper nervous from the day I booked my op but after a while I forgot about it then yesterday my nerves were bad. The staff are so lovely you have nothing to worry I promise that, I don’t like needles which is funny cause I’m covered in tattoos and piercings, they never numb my hand, I didn’t really feel it was to busy checking the male nurse out ??xxx

Oh my gosh your replied about the male nurse made crack up!! haha oh good, Ive been told I can have the numbing cream. Is any friends or family with you when your put to sleep or not? hope your recovery goes well hun xxx

He was decent and then when I was coming back round I mentioned him to another nurse saying he was proper decent and then he walked round the corner ?? no babe but I promise you’ll be fine xxx

You’ll be fine lottie, it goes so quick I was out in 45 minutes, and I was nervous right till the op date. Pain isn’t as bad, started my antibiotics today. Don’t worry you’re in good hands chick xx good luck x

I wud of been hiding my face and boobs so he dint see my little ones Haha……. ?
The pain is no were near as bad as wat i expected!!
I had no excitment at all in the run up to yesterday as i was just focusing and worryin wat the pain was goin to be like!!
All it feels like is tight and bruised and like iv done a chest workout at the gym so my arms are abot weak lol
Iv done almost everything for myself, made drinks, tied my hair up (leaning forward ?) got dressed, brushed my teeth, flushed toilet, i even did my make up 2hr after i got back from surgery lol ????
Iv had 2 ibuprofen tablets last night before bed and thats it so far pain killerwise! ? Got to take my antibiotics this morning yet tho ? I slept 11.30pm-8am

I wasn’t bothered ?? he was good looking I couldn’t help but stare, I’ve been the toilet that’s it so far not really moved out of bed. My hairs in French plaits so can’t really do anything with my hair just yet, I’ve had my pain killers last night and today that’s it! Xxx

I feel like I’m struggling way more than you girls are, I have strapping and I’m po day 3 both yesteday and today I’ve had pretty strong pain in my left breast and like none in my right. I’ve had normal pain in both breasts and if my left was the same as my right I would be be coping great but I have a constant pain in my left and it’s getting me worried and stopping me from doing most things! Spoke to the nurse yesteday she said it is normal to have more pain in one than the other but if it carries on think I might call again.. My strapping is so tight to and think my breasts are actually strapped differently! Getting s bit worried :/ x

Have you had overs or unders? Mine are overs and not in any pain today, just itching a lot ive change my bra today but it’s huge so looks like I’m going to have to buy new ones?? but there looking good so far xx

I’ve got the breast band given to me and it’s causing me agony, don’t know how long I’ve got to have it on for waiting till Wednesday to see the nurse now for my post op. Charlotte yours look great. I haven’t even had a chance to see mines. Xx

Im post op day 3 aswell today, not really had any pain to say iv had unders
Thank god just a bit of tight muscle pain in the middle and
My ribs feel abit bruised ?

I had partials… I’ve had itching to but don’t mind that it’s just the Horrible pain in the left getting on my nerves! I also feel like they’re gonna be to small at the moment.. Looking st the photo o posted on here straight after they look so nice and big (they were clearly very swollen) now I just keep looking at them and tbinkig they’re gonna be to small before ibe even seen them without strapping!! With tops on I look flat chested still… Did anyone else feel like this.. Is it normal to feel like that just s few days after my op ugh! Xx

I feel flat chested myself Lauren don’t know what they’re going to be looking like on Wednesday as I cannot take my support bra off as they told me not too, noticied a little bruise at the top of my left breast I am not happy with. They’re saying its normal. I just really want this breast band off, and yours are looking settled and good @janelle .. Charlotte I’m in Nottingham for my post op xx
