I’m nearly 7 week’s post op now and got measured for bra’s last week at Boux Avenue and was a 32F so brought a bra but not really happy with it, just wasn’t comfy. I went to M&S yesterday and got measured again and this time I’m a 34E , brought 2 bra’s but still not comfy, feels like its rubbing on my incision area although it doesn’t look red as though it has been rubbing. I also got measured at Ann Summers and was a 34 E, and brought a bra from here too.
I must admit I’m not very happy with my bra shopping so far and really hoping someone can recommend somewhere better. I didn’t think I’d want the push up bra look but now I think maybe I do.
    Any advice girls please. Xx

I have the same problem getting bras, it seems to be different in each shop and for each different bra. I have to try on a DD and E, sometimes a 32 and 34. all I could say is try on an E and F and to see what fits better, don’t trust one size will always fit. Ann summers do seem to have some good fitting bras. Bravissmo might be worth trying.
and its probably worth wearing your post op bra for a bit longer if you feel normal bras are rubbing the incisions, I wore mine for about 3 months x

Agree with Rinx about boobs still being hard at 7 weeks. Mine were still very round at 7 weeks so waited a bit longer to try out bras. Don’t bother even attempting Primark bras as their bras clearly weren’t designed for girls with fake boobs, they sit horrendously!!xx

I agree with Francesca, primark bras are only made for ppl with C or smaller boobs, they’re useless for any bigger, also la senza have stopped making bigger than a D so don’t try there. you could try next and marks and spencer, and Katie price has a range but I’ve not seen or tried them x

Omg I remember sat there crying in the changing rooms as one if the primark bras made my boobs look so small and horrible ( plus I was 5 weeks) I will never go there again xxx

My shock absorber bra and my Goddard Ego boost bra were delivered today and I love the Shock absorber and just finished a spin class wearing it, I will definitely feel confident running now because its so comfy. However just had to order another Goddard bra because the back sizes come up quite big so ordered a 32E instead xx
