New pictures added 560cc – 5 months PO

Hi girls,
I realised that I haven’t added any pictures since about 8 weeks, and I am now just a few weeks from 6 months post op. I had 560cc soft touch overs with Mr Traynor in October last year.
My recovery has been perfect, could not have asked for it to have gone any better – I’ve still got a few stretch marks, but they are definitely fading, and am not worrying about them. I am still totally in love with my new boobs, I can’t even remember not having them now.

Hi Kirsty, I was a 36B before, I’m now measuring a 36F/FF depending on where I’m shopping!

Just had a look at your pics….and they look fab…don’t look massively big either….I feel more reassured now:)

Yeah, they were a bit of a mess at first with my allergic reaction to the steri strips – but that healed really quickly. They don’t feel massive, just in proportion – though people do tell me they’re huge all the time ha!

How was you after 8 weeks? Cause I’m going on holiday 8 weeks after my BA and I’m nervous I won’t be ready for bikini/ pool etc

I’m interested in knowing that answer too…I’d like to go away 8-10 weeks after (not booked yet but hoping middle April) but my PC said not to go near pools/sea etc for risk of infection until 12 weeks…..dunno how easy it will. Be going away to a hot country and not taking a dip!!x

8 weeks post op for me was around Christmas, I felt great. I went to a spa around that time, so I had pool/bikini experience then. I’m sure you will be fine!

Oh brill ok thank you! See my PC said it would be fine as that’s why I booked it to get it done before my holiday! Just nervous… But I’m considering changing my surgeon now to avoid strapping and drains! Don’t know what to do!

You will be fine, don’t worry! Ahh, I had neither of those – I do think it’s strange that some surgeons use those and some don’t. I suppose it’s the surgeons own choice, but it obviously doesn’t make a difference to the outcome! x

Hi Kelly, it was 6 weeks when I started wearing normal bras again. I broke myself in gently for a week or so, alternating between sports and underwired – as it was a big change! x

Accepted you request Carlie. I was offered 525 and 560s, so glad I went with the bigger size. I’m sure there’s really not that much difference in the two, but like you say, its a lot of money, and you want to get it right! xx

Feel like I’m becoming impatient now, wishing I didn’t have to wait until July!

When did you feel well enough to go clothes shopping? The reason I ask is my sister is getting married in October ( I’m maid if honour) and waiting until I’ve had my ba to buy the dress. Just don’t want to have to panic about buying dress!

Ah I can’t imagine how impatient you must be feeling having to wait til July, I think I had my first PC appointment at the end of August, and my surgery at the beginning of October – and that was long enough to wait ha!! It is definitely worth the wait though, and I bet it will be here before you know it!
I reckon you’ll be fine to go shopping at the 6 week mark, when you can go bra shopping! It’s hard to shop for clothes in sports bras haha – and that should still give you plenty of time before your sisters wedding to get a lovely dress! x
