    Hellooo

So I have my BA (implants, nipple lift and reduction) booked for April and have my nipples pierced at the moment.

I’m not totally sure my piercings have healed even though I’ve had them about 8 months! So I’m abit worried about infection. Does anyone know whether I should take them out as soon as possible to let them heal or whether I can wait longer? Reading up about it I’m scared it might have increased my chances of infection post-op already 🙁

    Has anyone had this? Xxx

I had my nipples pierced last year as they were inverted, I only had 8 days from my initial consultation to my op so didn’t have much time to think about things but I was worried like you about infection especially since my right nipple was a bit sore around the piercing, I took that one out asap and left the other til the night before my op, they have healed up since.

Did anyone put the piercings back in after the op? I dont want to have to have them re-pierced and i’ve had them done that long that I find my boobs look odd without them 😛

    Hey!

I have my nipple pierced and Mr Traynor told me to take it out a hour before my op and they give it him to put back in for when i wake up 🙂 I have bought a longer plastic bar as i know my nipples will swell up but as i’m a bit uncomfortable with putting it back in especially with my boobs being so tender and swollen he said he would do it for me so when i wake up i have nothing to worry about! I’d ask your surgeon to do the same 🙂 Hope that helps! xx
