Sleep in the first few days is hard my advise is nap when and where your comfortable sofa good as your more supported. In bed put pillow under your knees as its takes the pressure off your spine whilst sleeping upright. If your awake at 2am never mind go on the net look at the new bras you could wear etc.
    Good luck x

Aw the first night after op I got 40minutes sleep in total! It was horrendous. Since then I’ve slept on sofa & slept so much better, I took meds just before I was going to sleep & Ive been sleeping 6 hours solid until due next lot! I’m on day 4 now & it’s definitely better, day 2 was my worst. Good luck xxx

Hi, ladies I slept like a baby I’m sorry to hear you couldn’t sleep, maybe because my op was 10am and I had this anaesthetic in my system and didn’t sleep until 10.40pm. I slept on the pillow 4o degrees placement, I was awake in the middle of the night ones but not get up just closed my eyes again.

Thanks girls it’s just nice to hear your not the only one lol!
Misia I feel sore n achy but manageable, are u using ice packs? I’m trying to not just sit n do nothing but then trying not to do too much either! I’ve got strapping on so can’t really see mine but I think I’m going to be happy with them as I had pretty much nothing before! Xx

I had mine done yesterday morning I was home a hour later, was fine all day no pain or anything just a little bit of aching like I’ve done too many chest presses down the gym lol….I also slept like a baby, went to sleep at 10.30pm straight to sleep (I put my pillows in a V) woke at 6.30am for toilet and then woke back up at 9.30am, was a little stiff when I woke up but I’m fine again now. My left side is massive and swollen but it doesn’t ache and I can move my arm perfect but my right isn’t as swollen but aches more and I can’t lift my arm very well. Typically seeing as I’m right handed….. I’m finding it hard not to do things I’ve bleached the kitchen this morning and made lunch already going to try and chill this afternoon though xx

Haha I actually think they do look small Kimberley but I have read on here they can take up to 3 months to fluff out and get to the proper size so hoping they get better in time…… Little bit worried this morning cos my left boob is still twice the size of my right and they said on phone yesterday if it hadn’t started to go today I’ve got to go back in and get it looked at ? xx

@kay oh no really? Twice the size? Oh it’s definitely best to have it looked at chick. Is it painful or not?

The mya nurse asked me to send photos she doesn’t think its anything bad just swelling, it does seem to have gone down quite a bit over the day & it doesn’t hurt so all good. Can move my arms perfectly today as well so I’m happy, done some house work and loads of washing (with the help of my 6 year old lol). Just feel very tight today like I can’t quite catch my breathe, think it’s due to the strapping, the nurse did say I could cut into it but I’d rather leave it til she does it on Friday xxx
