Hi ladies im 13 days PO.
I have been for a check up with the nurse today and come away gutted as 1 of my boobs is healing a lot slower than the other one, confusing as the 1 that’s not healing is the 1 that is less sore. So i now cant have a shower for another week : ( Has anyone else’s incisions taken a long time to heal.

Hey hun I am exactly the same, I’m 3 weeks p.o yesterday & still haven’t had a shower, my right nipple is taking sooo long to heal I’ve had 2 weeks holiday, 1 sick already.. work is not happy & I have been miserable but my job is very physical, going back to see the nurse tomorrow ! you will get there hun just got to try be patient & keep reminding ourselves why we had this done. Got my fingers crossed you heal faster than I have, if you ever get fed up or need a chat just pm me hun..good luck 🙂 Xx

hi same here, my right boob wasnt fully healed when steri strips came of n leaked a bit of fluid, had to go back to theatre to have the implant took out and drained and restitched, but dont worry, this was just precaution! you more than likely wont need anything like that doing, as mr traynor said it does usually just go on its own, some of us just take a little longer to heal! xxx

As long as you are seeing the nurse and calling them when you have any queries you should be ok, just rest and eat well x
