So NYE is the time everyone loves to dress up! Unfortunate for us post op girls (but worth it). I will be 5weeks PO on NYE so was wondering if it would hurt to wear a normal bra for this ONE night? I know it’s a huge risk but all my swelling is down, scars healed and I feel fine. Or do you think it is silly to risk anything for one night? Did any one break the rules with this a little? Lol

I personally wouldn’t but there’s plenty nice kinda dresses that will hide the sports bra or are you wanting to show off the boobie cleavage lol x

Why not try a soft unwired bra. Sure youll be fine as youre 5 weeks PO and only for 1 night xx

If you dont want to take the risk babe
I went out last week and wore a very tight long sleeve dress from River which covered the sports bra, but I put another bra over the op of it, loose fitting to get rid of that rank pointy boob shape, the boobies looked huge & were still kept safe

i personally wouldnt HOWEVER, from having a boobie account on instagram the amount of girls that wear wired bras FROM DAY ONE is astonishing. they also wear no bras, bralettes, everything, you name it. and yes they’re all american. The UK is (very rightly so) strict on aftercare and just seem ahead of the US in breast cosmetic surgery. but my point is, they do it and their boobs seem ok? So whilst i still wouldnt, you are 5 weeks post op and it is one night. I would say take your sports bra with you! And any discomfort at all id put it on and call it a night 🙂

Ugh it’s a tough decision, I think I will decide on the night and buy a few things just incase. @Ashlee that’s a great idea! Some of my dresses do hide the sports bra but boobs look rubbish in them with that pointy not supported shape. I’ve also seen loads of stories of girls doing crazy things afte their BA. I’ve stuck to all the after care advice but just reallllyyy want one night of boobs on show in a decent bra lol. ROLL ON 6WEEKS! lol xx

@daisy I’m one week post op… Ha I’ve got quite a while to wait!! I’ve got a primark seamless sports bra that’s pretty low cut and can be Hidden so it’s not a big deal. My friends see me for the first time nye wonder if they notice! I haven’t told any of them! Kinda excited to see their reactions. Xxx
