Hi hun I think as long as you don’t move around to much and you feel well within yourself you should e fine. Jut be aware of people bumping you hun. I went 178 miles (as a passenger) in the car the next day and felt fine but I was feeling really good within myself too. Just don’t strain yourself xx

How are you with GA? I just had a scar revision on Wednesday under a GA and spent all day and night on Thursday vomiting… so much so that I ended up readmitted to hospital with severe dehydration and had to have 12 hours of IV fluids. I have never suffered like this before and after my first op to have my BA I was ok but this time I reacted badly. I wouldnt want to go to a gig a day after a BA to be honest.. I just wanted to curl up in a little ball as it is sore afterwards and if you suffer from the GA or the pain killers the last place you will want to be is in an arena. You also have to think about the risks of infection…

Awh no really sorry to hear that πŸ™ sounds awful! well ive had 2 GAs and the first was when i was 12 i was sick for days then the second i was 19 and was fine just really sleepy. I guess I wont know until the day comes! How would it increase the risks of infection? X x x

You have open wounds… the skin doesnt provide a proper barrier to infection for 2 days so you are more likely to pick up an infection during this time… then put yourself in a warm sweaty environment like an arena and its a breeding ground for bacteria. Even though you will have dressings you can still get an infection and its always the biggest risk involved in any surgery and getting an infection can seriously affect your results and can even mean removal of your implants! You would be unfortunate for this to happen but if it was me I wouldnt want to take the risk… you have to remember a BA is still surgery and people think its such a simple procedure.. it isnt its surgery… you are having your body cut open and you need to take precautions to ensure you care for it post op. I am a nurse so I know the risks more than most!

Hi hun, after my GA for BA and uplift I was bouncing off the walls the next day and I’ve healed well! I would have been fine to go to a gig seated the night after with it being seated! I’d say see how you feel on the day if you can chance it… Everyone’s different! But fingers crossed!!! So jel you got tickets!!!! Xxx

Can I just say GO STEADY!!! I went to a German Umpah night 5 days post op and thought I felt fine. When I went for my post op on day 8, my wounds had not knitted together properly. I didnt go mad at this night but they say the extra movement and sweating is really not good for the wounds. I know evereyone feels different, but theres no way I could have gone to a gig on day 1 post op! Was in agony that day! xx

I’ve been sensible and sold my ticket. And got some more to see her in London in June! πŸ™‚
So by then I will be able to dance and go crazy! Saw my PC yesterday and she said NO. She said I might feel good but if someone knocks in to me or I suddenly faint etc so I’m gonna stay at home in bed instead πŸ™‚ xxx

not worth the risk, ive had 2 boobjobs and just felt like chilling you need to let your body recover. i went to the cinema the day after but a concert is different, you could get bumped into and ruin the healing process….x
