Oh my god! I am still in so much pain!
I am so tight and swollen its ridiculous still finding it really hard to get out of bed by myself as I’m so stiff
And I’ve literally had to get up holding my swollen boobs to walk round they are sooooo sore!
My stitches feel real tight too like I’m goin to burst open!
This strapping is so tight it feels like they are going to burst through the tape!
Please someone tell me this is normal – I thought I should be feeling better by now
    🙁

Morning ladies! I’m 2 days post op and feel exactly the same! My boobs are so sore I’m finding that I have to hold them aswell. I’m propped up on about 6 pillows and a v pillow along with a pillow for my neck! Right after surgery I was fine but now I’m struggling!

Awww 🙁 this is sad to hear, it’s horrible you are struggling so much, can you ring the nurse please and just ask what you should do @pinkfly because that strapping you have on is not right!!,xxx I’m surprised you can breathe xxx

    Menu

Hi Girls, Sorry to hear your struggling too!
I really thought I would find this a breeze, I have the highest pain threshold ever (even refusing ANY pain relief in my last labour) and I never take painkillers for anything, Purely because I don’t like to take any medication unless I really have too.

I must admit I have only been using paracetamol sparingly so probably making it harder for myself, But jees!
Its the stiffness and swelling I wasn’t quite prepared for (Don’t ask me why) Still struggle to even get up from sitting by myself takes forever and feels like my boobs will pop when I do, Also I still could no way lift my arms enough to tie my hair up – You want to see my hair haha!

Ive so much to do still before Christmas too! Agggh!

    I know @Laura I look like the hulk don’t I! haha!
Need some green paint – I must admit its not as tight as it was last night they just feel sooooooooo sore today and feel like this strapping is reaaaaaally rubbing on my stitches xx

Hey girls. From my experience and what I’ve read online day 2/3 are the WORST. Hang in there. My advice? Keep on top of your meds and REST! The good news? It gets much much better. Very very quickly. Day 9 and I feel fab!

it looks very tight @pinkfly7 but! remember your surgeon does it how he thinks would help your boobs. mine also is so tight I can barely breath proper but just hang in there, ive seen a girl take her middle bit off cos it was so tight aswell so if you check with nurse to see if you can? the strapping is by far the worst bit for me! the incisions are slightly stingy but I am manoeuvring almost normally now, tomorrow should be much better for you xx

Thanks girls spoke to the nurse she just said I may leave strapping on
Even past day 4 (I thought Mr Sings could come off by ourselves on day 4)
I was also too I couldn’t take ibrobufen 🙁 don’t want to take them orange diclorafen or whatever they are as already feel so spacey of my antibiotics ….
Probably over done it even more today as had to go out to sort the kids Christmas presents –
I didnt do any heavy lifting but literally had to walk around holding my boobs and the car journeys were horrendous!
I actually feel like they’ve swelled more now from te walking about and feel like there under my chin!
Praying its a better day tomorrow and today was my hardest day to get through
Thanks so much girls for your kind words makes me feel a bit better that other people are going through the same thing
(In a non sadistic way) xxx
