I’m 5 days post op and having strapping off on Tuesday. My recovery so far has been excellent but yesterday and today I’ve noticed that my right boob is bigger than my left. I’m not sure if left has gone down in swelling or whether right has swollen more, but my right one was also making squelching noises when I touched them.

It freaked me out so I searched the forum and read that the noises are normal!?! Has anyone else had this with one being more swollen and tender than the other? I’ve not prodded them today and not heard it today but the right one is still more tender when my arm rests against it!

Hi @rhilly I had the exact same thing my right was really swollen, try using ice on it, have a look at my pics, it took me a day to get the swelling down but the ice definetly worked Hun, don’t worry tho mine was the same I’m now 6 weeks post op and all is fine, feel free to add me and have a look x x x

@tracyl Thank you for the reply! I will use ice today. Did you have the squelchy noise too? I’ve read so many posts about swelling and dropping at different rates etc and how it’s all normal but when it happens to you you panic a bit! I’ve added you too. Thank you xx

Hi. My left one was quite a bit bigger around the same time. I didn’t have squelching noises but I did feel like it was vibrating! It settled down after a couple of days xx

@tracyl yes I did thanks for asking. I think it seems a bit better. It’s still got a long way to go compared to the other though. Got my appointment today and more concerned to find out if they’re OK than actually how they look at the moment. Fingers crossed!! Xx
