Last night I leaned over to get a drink and my left breast moved slightly it realy hurt and now its all swollen and I’m in pain . And also my left shoulder and arm is in pain, this breast has felt different since I got back from hospital though and I thought a possibility could be that because I had the catheter in that arm its made it hurt ? And hurt worse than the other breast ? Anyways I feel really uncomfortable ? X

Hi hun im sorry your in this much pain. I would ring up your nurse and explain to her hun she might be able to give you an idea of what to do.
Try taking co codomol and nurofen together that really helped me when i was in pain.
Hope it feels better soon x

Yeah that doesn’t sound good? Maybe you stretched a muscle too much getting your drink? I was drying up n went to put a cup away, lifted my arm up n my boob made a fart noise! Like Pixie says give your nurse a ring and ask? That’s what you’ve paid for at the end of the day? x

Huni my left breast was the bad one for me! I couldn’t hardly use my left arm for a while. When I would it felt like my muscle under my implant contracted and it was really painful! It was more swollen than the right too xxx

I know it sounds weird but I think it’s because your implants comes out at the sides you’ll find your not actually keeping your arm straight so it’s probably aching where it’s hanging in a weird position and you haven’t noticed, I was the exact same it was really numb for a while but once your implants soften your arm will get back to normal… For now try and rest it as straight as you can, I found resting my arm on my head helped xxx

Hi Sam, I had a really horribly painful arm and shoulder. It’s a touch of phlebitis from the catheter, and nothing to worry about, just the lining of your veins is irritated and inflamed from the catheter, it’s quite common. Mine took about 2 weeks to settle. It was a horrible feeling, but nothing to do with the boobs. Dont worry hun, just panic setting in, I was the same during my recovery, but now I can laugh at how paranoid I was. You will be all better soon x x x
