Okay so I’m majorly excited, after counting down for what seems like FOREVER I’m in for my surgery next Tuesday 13th June at Preston!! I’ve been saving for this for the past year after I lost a lot of weight (just over 11 stone over the course of 2 years), although I was pretty lucky with the weightloss not affecting any other parts, it really did have a huge affect on the breasticles! I’ve gone from a DD to a very empty B…and it’s genuinely upsetting that my nan has better boobs than I have at the mo!!

So I’m going for an uplift and HP implants with either 300 or 325cc’s under the muscle….I haven’t decided on the size yet and have an appointment with my surgeon (Dr Andrea) next Monday night to ask his opinion as I really don’t know which one to go for! He offered me 275, 300 and 325 and at first I was all set on the 300 as I didn’t want to go too big…but then when I had my pre-op I spoke to the nurse and she said she’d recommend 325 because I’m so tall (5ft 10). So now I’m confused 🙁

But anyways…I’ve also realised today just how unprepared I am!! Like I’ve only got a week to go and I’ve literally got nothing. I’ve looked on the forum and I don’t even know where to start with getting bras – someone please give me some guidance?! Am I best buying them from MYA? How do I know what size I’ll be? How many should I get?

I’ve seen a lot of girls have recommended the V pillow which I will get. But is there anything else I should be getting? If anyone has a list they could rattle off for me that would be AMAZE!!! Plus any other bits you think would be helpful….

I’ve also decided to meal prep in bulk for next week 1. So that I’m not having to mess about cooking when I’m going to be in a lot of pain. 2. To keep me on track with clean eating! Already the thought of not going to the gym for 6 weeks is making me anxious so I need to make sure I’m eating right whilst I’m doing nothing!
Although the thought of consuming unlimited Ben and Jerry’s whilst watching daytime TV is very tempting! Sooo if anyone has any meal prep ideas please holla at me with those too 🙂

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to make sure I’m all prepared and not freaking out when it gets to next Monday night!

    Thanks girlies xx

My surgery is 20th June it seems to be dragging so bad lol! I’m swinging from nervous to excited, it’s definitely a emotional experience.. excited to finally have some boobs!! Lol.. but nervous for the op/pain and to no what size I’ll actually be! I’m having 325cc high profile overs!! My pc said I will go up 3 sizes but the more I read the more I don’t think I will. It’s then not knowing!! Anyway i have seen you asking about ordering mya bras? If you asked the nurse or your pc they will tell you which size will be best to order.. in a 36b (small b) having 325ccs and they told me to order a L as they are small sizes..
    I’ve packed my bag already-
I have a big baggy zip up hoody
    My mya bra
    Trackie bottoms
    Pants
    Socks
    Slippers
    My mya folder
    Earphones
    Phone charger
    Face wipes & baby wipes!
    Tooth brush
    Hair brush/hair band
Will also pack some snacks on the day.

At home I have a V pillow, extra pillows for in bed and some cooling pads (the ones you put in the fridge!) as I’ve seen some girls use these if the swelling is to much.. good prep isn’t something I’m doing I’ll have someone here with me for the first 4days.. hope this helps a little! Xx

Mines not till july but ive got a list… Arnica tablets I think they are called to help with bruising, protien drinks for after, im getting a batwing pillow as I already suffer from bad back and I found one on a medical site so think that rather the the back rest and v pillow, im also looking into those companies that deliver hot meals, thinking for the first week it will come to my door ready for me to just eat, im also doing a big shop of easy cook/ make things I like, baby wipes face wipes, im having my hair French plaited realy tight so im hoping it will be ok for majority of the week because I won’t have anyone here to help me, im getting a tray with legs that can sit on my bed at home aswell so I don’t have to reach towards the bedside tables xx

Thank you so much for your replies, girls!! That is just what I needed to start me off…

Vicki I know what you mean about it dragging, this final week is going SO slow for me!! Bet you’re so excited though, and I can’t believe how organised you are packing your bag already! I’ve spoken to my PC about bras; I’ve got a final meeting with my surgeon next Monday evening so once I’ve confirmed sizes with him she said I can try them on there and then! So I feel much better about that now and not panicking that I wont get one in time.

Thanks Chloe – that’s such a good idea ordering the hot meals!!! Didn’t even think of that…I’m going to have a look online for those 🙂 think I might also steal your idea of French plaits!!! He he, sorry! Bet you can’t wait for your surgery! It’s such an exciting time.

I’ve officially started a list now so thank you! xx
