His ladies, I wanted to let you know of my progress so far. I’m only POD1 but am already in love with my new pups lol. I have gone from a 32 a/b cup to hopefully a 32 D.
I stayed at the Preston Marriott Sunday night with my mum, which was nice as I’m from Nottingham and didn’t want to be late travelling on Monday morning. My admission time was 11am, however we arrived at 10.20am as the hotel was literally 3 minutes away. I surprised to get straight to my room, by 11am I had been seen by everyone and drawn on by Mr Mounir. At 12noon I walked to the theatre, the lovely anethetist did his bit and off to sleep I was. I woke up about 1.45pm in my room with my mum there. The only pain I had was a strong stingoing sensation where the incisions were. That soon passed. I had biscuits and water, then toast and tea which was lovely.
I washed my face and put moisturiser on to feel a bit more human. The nurse then put my bra on which felt better with the support. Then I had a band put over the top of my breasts which unfortunately has to stay on for 6 weeks!
By 5pm I was in the car packed up with my antibiotics, co-codamol and ibroprufen. I didn’t really need a pillow in the car but used it anyway. When I got home it was lovely to see my Hubby and kids, they were upset they couldn’t hug me too tight but love my new ‘oranges’ lol.
I slept upright with my v-pillow. I didn’t sleep great as my shoulders/upper back aches from pressure I suppose. I tool 2 co-codamol not really because I was in pain but thought they’d knock me out.
When I woke this morning it felt strange sitting up at first but they’re fine now. I’ve had my antibiotic and ibroprufen but don’t really need the pain relief . I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I thought I’d struggle being nearly 38 lol. I’ve put some pics up, one pre-op with my sexy pants on, the second just after I’d come round. Xx

Hi ladies, I had 325 hp over’s. I was supposed to be under but he said my muscle was too high and I’d look like a body builder lol. So over it was. I love my size as I didn’t want to go too big, I think I’ll be a 32D when they’re at their best hehe.Mr Mounir is so lovely, good luck Chesc xx
Lucy, poor you being sick, I’ve had general before and was fine so I thought I’d be OK. How did you sleep last night? I woke up a few times 🙁 x

Hi Lucy, yes unders are meant to be more painful. It’s a shame he went under first as I think they’d even feel better. I’m pleased you’re happier with yours. I think sometimes we have to remember what they were like and how much better they look now. I would definitely recommend The First Trust Hospital. My nurse Lynne was soooooo lovely. An all round fab experience. Let’s hope we sleep well tonight xx

    Hi ladies
I was in on the 17th too with mr mounir- had 425 unders! After my op I only saw my boobies briefly as they then put the support bra on me. They looked very swollen and tight so I couldn’t really tell what they’re going to look like. I’m not going to lie…I was in agony all day today, but I’m not taking the codein as it made me really sick yesterday. And being sick is agony! Can’t wait for the swelling to go down so I can see them properly! Hope you all sleep well tonight too and good luck for 2 weeks time Kelly! I’ll post some pics soon ???? Xxxx

    Hi @claire
I’m having mine done at Preston with Dr.Mounir on 21st November 🙂
    Seems so far away still….
Can I ask (might sound stupid) did u have Macom bra or u had like high impact sports bra?
I’ve heard that macoms are extremely uncomfortable and that normal sports bra does the same job.
I’m super nervous and confused right now about that, and also what stuff to pack with me and that.
Any help would be much appreciated….

Hope you feel ok and heal quickly 🙂

Hi Santa, I couldn’t fault the staff at Preston, and Mr Mounir is so lovely. Yours will come round quickly now with Christmas coming too. I bought two Macom bras. I bought one standard one and an ultimate one. The ultimate is very comfortable and comes much lower so doesn’t rub on the stitch area. The nurse said I’d done well but then I’ve seen other chats where they haven’t recommended them. I got 15% off through MYA they gave me a code. Are you with MYA? If so your nurse will give you the code.
Other things I packed were zipped hoody and baggy jeans, Macom bra, cleanser, moisturiser etc for face. Flip flops as you have to walk to the theatre. Didn’t want to wear my slippers in a hospital.
I was also on my period. I read the night before that this could put my op date back! I was tempted not to tell them, but the nurse said it’s never been a problem. You just can’t wear tampax. Feel free to ask any other questions hun. Good luck xx

    @claire
Yea I got the code too…. Just concerned as they are quite expensive and if they’re not comfortable at all it would be waste of money. I asked surgeon about this too, his answer was that normal sports bra does the same job… Ehh, I don’t know 🙂
    Yes I am with Mya…
It’s 4 weeks away next Monday…. Caaaant wait. Been wanting this like forever..
Oh, I think that I will be on period on my op date… At least I’ll know what to do, thanks for that 🙂
What time was your admission, how quickly did u get to theatre and when they let u go home?

I accepted your friend request 🙂

I was thinking of mine is at like 8am or something, I would book a hotel so that we avoid driving early morning. Plus you’re not allowed to eat anything, so it would be even better if I just woke up and literally went straight there

Go with what you’re comfortable with. I know some people sell their Macoms, mine are comfy. My admission time was 11am but got there early at 10.20am. They got me sorted straight away and by 12noon I was in the theatre. I left at 5pm. All went like clock work.
I know how you’re feeling now, I can tell you it’s worth the wait. I’m excited for you!! Xx
