Op day!!!

Today is finally the day of my op I’m so excited but it still doesn’t seem like it’s finally here!! I woke up early so I could have some breakfast my admission time is 1pm so I’m going to be hungry all day 🙁 I’m about to have my last shower with my antibacterial soap then wait for my mum to come pick me up then be on our way to Preston, good luck to all the other girls that are in today I’ll be thinking of you all and will keep you updated!! ??

I am here now and waiting in my room so scared now good luck xx

I am so nervous now i am 3rd on the list so my op is half 11 xx

That’s not too bad do they let you know where abouts you are on the list then? I hope I’m one of the first on the list I think sat there waiting will be the worst part! dx

I’m in my room now in the gown and stockings the nurse and doctor have both been in to go through medical history take my blood pressure ect. Said I should be going down about 4 o’clock so just got to sit and wait now xx

Dr Andrea just came in took some pictures of my boobs and drew on me, I’m having bigger implants than I thought so that’s a bonus!! Xx

All done now girls everything is fine was completely nothing to worry about the canular is fine and all the nurses in there are lovely and so is dr Andrea! In bed with my Macom on having some toast xx

It’s amazing how quickly they do it as well. How you feeling? Good to hear the canulla isnt bad too! Are you going home tonight?xx

I know it was so quick and I fell asleep within seconds! I feel ok I’m not in pain just feel like I’ve been at the gym working my chest for about 10 hours it’s so tight haha I’m home now having a cup of tea and some biscuits its began such s long day but so worth it! I love them already I’m so happy with what I’ve seen so far, hopefully I’ll be able to sleep and not wake up in pain xx

Yeah they put one on me at the hospital yesterday got to wear it for a week on top of my Macom, they said if it’s starts rubbing can put a top on underneath, suppose it’s better than being all strapped up! Sorry I don’t know how to tag people haha xx

Thank you, day 2 today and still no pain just the tightness I’m going to have a shallow bath and get dressed today with the help of my boyfriend! Hope everyone’s doing well xx

Hi Emily, I had my op yesterday too (at Fitzroy) was expecting the pain to be worse than it is. Lying down is fine (just tight) but getting up to make breakfast was a struggle. Hopefully not too much longer of this, I want to see mine properly as I had more strapping than you. 325 left 350 right, I thought I was the only one with 2 different sized implants! Are you taking much of the painkillers? Ever since putting the Macom on it’s hurt more but daren’t take it off as not sure I’ll get it on again by myself! Xx

I’ve just being taking the cocodamol before I go to bed and nothing through the day, I feel a lot better when I take the breast band off but got to keep it on for a week so just have to bear with it, I undid my Macom yesterday and had to get my boyfriend to help me do it back up! xx @lvp2015

Oh the nurse at pre-op told me I’d have to wear the breast band for 30 days! Not looking forward to that, hope it is only a week you have to wear it for that would be much better xx

@rebe oh they just said 1 week at the hospital I’ll see when I go for my post op appointment on Tuesday i hope it’s not any longer! Xx
