Op day almost over!!!

Hi ladies, so today my op day! After my admission time being changed a few times and I’m traveling from 6.5 hours away it was frustrating but it’s finally over and I was admitted at 4 and operated on by 4.45 and awake by 5.45! Absolutely love my boobs just now, I must admit it isn’t as painful as I thought it was going to be but I’m probably still doped up on painkillers and things! I went for 400c in my left, 375cc in my right and I almost went for the smaller size but Dr Traynor just said go for it if I want it it isn’t much difference! As I lost 4.5 stone he did say I will definitely need an uplift in years to come but I knew that was going to happen and I am okay with that. I am at first trust hospital in Preston, the staff are so so lovely and I couldn’t fault their level of service to me! I am so happy and I am leaving in the next 40 minutes after my final check.

Also if you’re worried about going under GA, DONT BE! I almost chickened out at 3pm because I was so scared about going under and honestly i felt it go in and the next thing you know I was out and they didn’t even have time to say ‘count to 10’ I was conked out! Waking up was so weird haha I felt so drunk and didn’t realise it had happened! Had lovely toast and orange juice and having some lucozade now, so far so good. Ahh congratulations! I’ve got my op tomorrow and I feel the same as though I will chicken out just before because of the GA!! Everyone says it’s nothing to worry about so hoping it happens quickly! Enjoy your new boobs? Xx

Thank you @d.hayes !? honestly don’t be worried!! I had it in my head of this horrible massive needle and horrible cold liquid but honestly, I’ve had my lips done and bloods taken and its 100000% worse than that! I woke up and was rambling on a heap of rubbish lol! Good luck for tomorrow babe❤️ Xx

I have mine today in Preston the pain for me is so uncomfortable but I think my bra is too tight. Glad everything went well xx

Ahh that’s great advice and pleased it went well! I had my op yesterday and I was EXACTLY the same, hadn’t even realised I’d had the surgery when I woke up! Xx hope you are feeling ok xx

I was lying on the bed yesterday after they put the anaesthetic in laughing my head off right before I went out for the count ? x

@chloemoore , the pain is okay for me just now but I think I am being overly cautious about my bra near my incisions so I am constantly moving it but I will speak to my nurse today. I feel mine are a little funny shaped just now but I realise they do change I’m just worried ?! I hope your pain goes away, just keep on top of the pain killers ?

@nickiigilbert , how did it go?! I know it’s crazy you feel so out of it but I honestly don’t know why I was panicking so much, I mean if I were to do it again I’d probably be panicking again but at least I know what it’s like now as it was my first time! Happy healing ?

@jess , hahah that’s hilarious! how did your op go then as I know yours way the day before mine? I’m worried mine are a funny shape but as I said up there I understand they have to change but I almost went for an uplift so I hope this has added some perky-ness into them ?! Happy healing babes ? X
