Op on tuesday- QUESTIONS

Okay ladies, im the most unprepared person ever but i have a few random questions…
can we keep our nailvarnish on our toes?
can we wear knickers under those delightful seethrough knickers?
can we have our hair in a bun ring if it has no metal in it?
does mr traynor use drains or is it depend on the individual? thats the main thing im scared about!!
ive got pjs, sweets, wipes, phone charger, straws, clothes to change into, sports bras, — am i missing anything ?
safe to say im prettyy scared now!! 🙁 xxx

ALSO – how long before i can drive again? xx

Hi hun i left my nail varnish on my toes it was fine.. im not sure about the bun ring and ur not allowed to wear knickers.. mr T doesnt use drains.. if ur travelling take a v pillow xx

Hi steff! They asked me if I’d made sure my varnish was off hands and toes, they said I couldn’t wear my normal Knicks under those horrid ones but don’t worry no one sees under them they cover you from belly button down when you get onto the bed to be put to sleep. They keep your gown over your top half but don’t take it off until your under.. Hair bun should be fine I would think! Heard traynor doesn’t use drains so don’t worry about that either if u wake up with them u probs needed them instead of just a precaution! Also take money as the meals if anyone like your mum or something wants a bite to eat 🙂 good luck!!! It’s come around so quick for you! Everything will be fine good luck! Xxxxxc

I had traynor hun i even had a load of henna on my leg they never said anything so.. surgeons just have their own techniques traynor used a bit of strapping on me but most ppl dnt get any xx

I’m sure I read a girl say he didn’t like the infection risk of drains but I know he doesn’t usually use strapping but he gave me a band of it over my boobs for a week which was abit crap when I woke up haha! So I think he just does what he thinks needs doing instead of just doing the same for everyone if that makes sense 🙂 don’t worry about the knickers u can’t see through them or anything 🙂 did u decide on size? Xxx

what did you girls have overs or unders? i wonder if he straps for a certain one maybe?
im having 450 or 500c (depending what he says on the day) overs froma 34a im 5ft 8 but hoping (PRAYING) to look a DD. what about you ladies? what were your stats? xx

I had overs hun.. he strapped mine underneath to take the weight off the incisions.. i had 600cc high profiles.. i was a B cup pre op.. im 5ft 8 size 10 and 9.5 stone.. id say take the largest offered hun so u dnt have regrets.. mine have shrunk loads when they settle i hope they start fluffing nicely.. now i totally understand why we get boob greed.. im hoping to be a F or bigger if im lucky but i know they will look smaller than they measure xx

Hi hope you don’t mind me commenting but i was wanting to ask the same… i have gels on my toes and was wondering if I’d have to have them soaked off?! Have you decided what you’re wearing home from the hospital? I’m struggling to think what to wear!! xx

I think I will take the largest offered tbh. I’m so confused because some girls with 400+ look HUGE yet some look small?! It makes no sense so I defo think I’ll take the biggest just to be safe! Amanda you have made me feel better about overs as yours look greattt!
I’m the same Catherine j have gel too and my op is on Tuesday so no way I’ll get an appointment to soak off now! Don’t know what to do oopsss! I’m planning on coming home in pjs if I’m completely honest hahaha xx

I’ve heard different opinions that toe nails are ok as long as your hand nails are clear and then heard nothing at all, I’ve got 3 weeks to wait so maybe I’ll get them taken off rather than infilled 🙁 Aww your op is so close I’m so jealous!! The wait is killing me haha! I don’t blame you at all at least you’ll be comfy!! Can’t wait to hear how your op goes, huge good luck!! Xx

Hey Hun I had m Ba yesterday and it’s suprising how little I needed … Long as you have plenty of fluids for after ipad/tablet/phone magazines and bra for after you will be fine, also my v pillow for journey home was a godsend and pillow underneath bottom :o) xx
