Op tomorrow, what to take!?

Hey girls,
So it’s finally here, I’m having my op tomorrow!
Feeling a little emotional as it’s my first ever operation so I am unsure what to expect.
But what should I take with me?

To be honest as a day case you don’t need much. I wore a size bigger linen shirt & my skinnys. Then went home in it too. Hair brush, biscuits (the thought of proper food was urgh!) and a bottle of lucozade was enough for the afternoon whilst I was there. Plus a movie/mags for the little waiting points in between x

I just wore a vest top that I put on over my bum afterwards and lose bottoms easy get on post op bra wipes hair brush if you le staying over in hotel afterwards then obs clean underwear tooth brush and normal stuff like that xxxx

Ah best of luck for tomorrow Courtney, I had my surgery on Friday, as soon as you get into hospital they will give you your gown and lovely paper pants to wear. After my surgery I had my sports bra, comfy leggings and a thin light weight cardingan that did up at the front as this was easy to slip on, wear slip on shoes/ flip flop/ slippers too as they are much easier to slip on and off. After your op tou will get water and offered a light snack. So you don’t really need much else in the hospital. I stayed over night in a nearby hotel and just took basic toiletries, hair brush and baby wipes, they advise you not to use spray deodorant so just take a simple roll on. L xx.
