Op yesterday! 28/03/17

So yesterday I had 300 HP round implants with Dr Traynor. My admission time was 11am, got taken straight to my room but didn’t actually get taken down for my op until 4pm. That’s when the gear hit me, I was so scared! On the verge of tears as I was walking down ???? Don’t know why though because honestly nothing is scary at all.

So I got taken into the little room with the nurse, she was lovely! Really reassuring! Then the anaesthetist came in, they took me through to theatre on my bed and he then administered the anaesthetic. He started asking me questions and told me I would start to feel a bit funny, after that I literally don’t remember anything after that. I have no clue where I woke up, I just remember two nurses being next to me and I just kept telling them I was really drunk hahaha.

I got taken back to my room, back onto my bed and I just kept falling back asleep. They came through and took my temp and blood pressure and my blood pressure was quite low so they checked it about 4 times after that and I also had a drip to rehydrate me due to not having fluids from around 8:30am that morning. Once I started to come round a bit more the nurse came through and help me put my sports bra on and she came along to the toilet with me. Everything was fine, I went to the toilet and then all of a sudden I just needed to be sick! So I had to quickly turn around and try and aim for the toilet (not my finest moment) and then nurse came back through and helped me. Once we got back to my room I felt so warm, I was very uncomfortable because I was so warm and I was extremely itchy!! But honestly girls, the pain is nothing compare to what I expected! I’ve been able to tie up my own hair, put my coat on and I’ve just changed my sports bra myself to a one that isn’t as tight. Another thing is, my nurse when I had my pre op said I wouldn’t need a sports bra that was a back size bigger but yesteday said that it would of been much more comfortable for me so my nana has been and got 2 for me.

I would defo recommended Dr Traynor, he is very blunt and very straight to the point but when you are having something that is going to be there forever that is what you need! X

I had Dr Traynor yesterday also! 🙂 you must have had your surgery just before me as my admission time was 2pm but went for surgery with him at 5pm. Hope you’re healing well! I also felt really warm in my bed when having the rehydration fluids but luckily didn’t get or have any nausea or sickness! Dr Traynor is a boob god! X

Aww did you?? Yeah he is amazing, apparently he came in and seen me after my op and I can’t remember at all hahaha! I hope you’re okay chick, I’m feeling good xx

I had mine on the same day as you with mr traynor I was second in and my experience sounds almost the same as yours! Hope your still feeling just as good now! xxx

Hiya chick, yeah I’m feeling fine tbh! I’m just tired and I feel really quite tight, but it’s not painful just uncomfortable. I rang my nurse before and she said I can unzip my bra for 5 minutes for a break and she’s asked me to put some ice packs on them to help with my swelling. I still feel quite sick and I’ve got a horrible taste in my mouth 🙁 but apart from that, I honestly feel fine! Sleeping has been fine even though I’m up I’ve still been getting a full night really! I just wish this sickness feeling would go away because I’m scared to eat a lot, everything tastes horrible! Haha. I hope everything went okay with yours, how’s your recovery been? Xx

I’m the same with the tiredness last night I slept from 1am till 7am which was really good it’s the most I’ve slept since Tuesday but because I hadn’t taken any pain killers I woke up feeling extra tight this morning but as soon as they kicked in again I felt better! I have been taking arnica for my swelling if you can get some I think it really helps! I’ve still not even undone my bra I’m scared it’s going to hurt ha! what pain relief are you using? If it’s cocodomal it could be that making you feel sick I can’t have it for that reason xx

Honestly chick if you undo it you’ll feel a massive relief! I personally didn’t think it didn’t hurt undoing it, it’s a little bit nippy putting it back on but it’s defo not painful! I’m only taking ibuprofen and paracetamol so I don’t think it could be that. Maybe it could be though, yeah I have some arnica already so I’ll start taking that again and I’m going to put some ice on and hopefully the tightness will start to release a bit xxx

I might take it off later then for a breather haha! Yeahh it could just be all the pressure and drugs that’s making you feel off! I’m going to post some pics later I think! Xxx
