Hi girls just wana give you my experience. my admission time was at 11am, soon as i got there i was taken to my room and a few people came in to see me including the surgeon and anethesist! everyone was amazing, by 12 i had been seen by everyone who needed to see me and was just waiting to go down to surgery.

At 1:25 they came in to get me and to be fair i was so scared, but they all make u feel comfortable and soon as they put the relaxing stuff in your hand it makes you feel amazing and the next thing i knew i was awake in the recovery room. when i woke up i wasnt in any pain at all just felt very tight and resticted. i didnt have any more painkillers till just before i was leaving th hospital at 9pm. wen i got back to my room they gave me tea and toast after an hour and gave me water straight away. i was the last one to have surgery so last to have my drains out (which also wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, ripping a bit of my strapping off to get to them hurt more haha)

The worst part of the whole day was the first time you get up and i felt very faint, hot and sick and went really pale, so they brought in a fan for me and made me drink more water! and the drive home was painful with all the bumps in the road.

I slept pretty much all night until 7am this morning where my painkillers had fully worn out and it was an uncomfortable aching and shooting pain feeling but soon as i took the tablets i feel fine just a lot more restricted than yesterday as i can barely move my arms today but i presume thats normal! overall im very pleased with MYA and you girls have nothing to worry about.

If anyone post op wants to give me any advice feel free as ive heard ice is good for swelling but all i been doing is just taking my meds!

    any questions just ask ☺️

Hey sounds like it was a. Breeze!! How are you feeling now? Are you recovering okay?
I’m getting mine done with Max on the 29th Feb, I’m on here all the time trying to find out all the info I need, think I’m driving myself crazy over it. It’s a mix of excitement and nerves! Did you feel like this before?
Also, the drains? Like I don’t get what they are, what they do, or where they’re put? My pre op nurse didn’t mention them so I don’t really know aha.
    Hope your recovering well! X

hi, do you have any before and after pics? my concern is sizes and what to pick. i have not seen the consultant yet. Im sure he will give me lots of advice as to what will suit me. i was just wondering what your experience was like in that department?

Hi Lucy, im day 5 post op now and im feeling amazing, i dont feel as tight anymore but im wondering if its just because ive got used to it! the first two days were the worst as your very restricted, and i couldnt move my arms or sit up on my own! but now i can and feel much more mobile, i had my first shallow bath yesterday aswell. ive stopped taking the painkillers as not having any pain, maybe the odd shootting pain here an there but nothing that i need to take painkillers for. Before my op i was really scared, the moment they come in to take you down for surgery is the worst as i was shaking i was so scared but they all make u feel comfortable and soon as they put the anesethic in your hand you feel amazing and then your asleep! the drains are two tubes(one in each boob) they leave in after surgery which is attached to a bottle to drain out any excess blood inside. it sounds worse than it is, but they just pull them out before you go home! nothing to worry about honestly.

Hi kelly, im still wearing strapping at the moment so havent seen my new boobs properly, but im having that off on wesnesday so will do so before and after pictures then! when i went for my surgeon consultation i had a rough idea of what size i wanted (in cup size) so he had a look and advised me what would look best to achieve that size. my surgeon gave me a range of between 325 and 375 then on the day of surgery he will choose what he puts in and i had 350 which im really pleased about as they look right for my frame! i think you have to just trust the surgeon as i have learnt that they all look different on everyone even if youve had the same size! but i was on here constantly looking for pictures of 350s! hope that helps x x

Hi Shannen, very helpful post! Sounds like you’ve had a good experience πŸ™‚ I’m just wondering what cup size you’ll be? I also have Mr Marcellino and he suggested 325cc from a 32B, I’m hoping that will give me a DD. I’ve added you btw hope you don’t mind! x
