Want to know everyone’s opinion on the aftercare, after having researched found that mya don’t keep you overnight and dont give you much follow up care after, have heard with transform they keep you overnight to keep an eye on you so your 100% before you leave!

Havin consultation with mya on Friday so want to make sure I’m going to get the best care

You can stay overnight if you wish to Emma, but some people chose to stay in a nearby hotel as it’s a cheaper option and often more comfortable really. I’m early days (24 days PO) but aftercare has been fine so far 🙂 x

I think I would have gone mental if I’d have had to stay in over night, there was really no need. I was up and about as soon as the anaesthetic was worn off and I’d had something to eat – around an hour and a half after I came round, I wanted to get out of the hospital room and go home!
The after care I received was really good. I used the emergency nurse number once and the advice was great and put me at ease. I had a phone call from a nurse the day after my surgery, and a few from girls at MYA the days after just checking on my progress (most of whom, I noticed, had had BA’s themselves so could relate) Check ups at 1 week, 6 weeks and 3 months were all fine – and was told on numerous occasions that if I needed to make an appointment so see either the nurse or the surgeon I could at any time.
I really couldn’t fault the aftercare. But I also haven’t had to use it much than required as my recovery was pretty much as good as it can be! x

i definitely wouldn’t wanna stay overnight either, you’re nice and sleepy when you leave from the meds, going home was a blur lol, i imagine waking up the next morning all groggy and sore then having to travel home would not be fun!!

got nothing bad to say about the aftercare, both times i had boobjobs was with mya & mr singh at highgate and was all good, anytime i had questions or wanted to be checked over by a nurse i could easily call and book x

In my experience the after care has been just as good as the pre op care, my patient coordinator (Katie Mason) has been amazing! I have to go to MYA today to get my incisions checked and they got me in super fast and Katie had been on the phone making sure I’m ok and putting my mind at rest! I have no complaints 🙂 x
