Hey girls, i was just wondering for those of you that have already had their op done, how long do you have to wear the macom for? And is it a 24 hr thing..constantly having to wear it? And when was your first night out with your new boobies! I only ask because my partners birthday is 10 days after my op! And im not sure but im thinking thats too soon to go out on a night out!?

Hi, I have been told to wear my bra for at least 6-8 weeks 24 hours a day, only taking it off to shower. I am 10 days post op now and have been out and about since day 1 but obviously ensuring I rest a lot too, get enough sleep etc and not overdo it! I haven’t been on a proper night out only for a meal and had to wear an outfit that covered the bra. I wouldn’t recommend a proper night out drinking late etc until a few weeks post op but obviously everyone is different, hope this helps! xx

You will be fine to go out at 10 days however with you only just recently having surgery you will definately have to keep that sports bra on!!! X just wear something that covers the straps. Xxx and yea wear your macom 24/7 until your nurse advises you otherwise. You don’t wanna do any damage xxxxxxx I’ve been told hat after I’m 2 week p.o (tomorrow) I can go bra less out of my sports bra for 30 minutes a day xxxxxx

I’d honestly be careful Hun with going out especially night clubs etc people bumping into you, knocking you! 10dpo is a little early I’d say but everyone is different & heal different paces, minimise your alcohol defiantly as we all know alcohol can block out a few things especially pain threshold, stretching, using your muscles etc ohhh & wrap them baby’s up warm lol you will not like the cold on them it’s a weird horrible feeling especially if they are still numb x
