Hello girls. I’m 4DPO and just wondering if I’m overdoing it i don’t want to damage my boobies ????. I’ve been on a walk today cleaned the house, hoovered etc. I haven’t really sat down I’m not really in pain anymore I just have few funny pains now and again. Should I take it easy or am I fine carrying on. I had overs so recovery hasn’t been that bad. What was everyone doing at 4DPO? Xxx

    Thank you xx

Wow I don’t know how you are managing that! POD4 I felt like I was dying! My surgeon told me absolutely take it easy for 14 days at least – no lifting, pushing, housework, gym or anything, no lifting arms above head.
Even though you may feel fine yoh may end up doing damage like pulling on your incisions or something. Your body has been through major trauma so I would think just rest for a few days. I know it can get pretty boring but it’s a necessary part of recovery Hun xxx

Oh no think I’ll take it easy for the rest of the week. My partner cleans but I feel I have to follow him behind because he misses bit???? I have been lifting my arms above my head as well to do my hair so I’ll defo stop that. Thank you for your reply xx

My surgeon told me I’d feel ok but reminded me that just because I felt ok, I must still remember to follow the guidelines, you defo should not be hoovering, lifting heavy items or stretching up high, you run the risk of causing problems. Take it easy and let your body recover, don’t forget there is a lot going on under the surface that you can’t see 🙂 x

I had to drive yesterday at POD8 to my nurse appointment – but I have an automatic etc, so it wasn’t too bad.

I’m doing bits and pieces today (sorting my wardrobe etc) but I do have backache today.
The muscle spasms are painful (they call them Zingers in the USA – I totally get why)
That’s about the total of my pain – I stopped pain meds around day 4 as I was way too bloated on them. Thank goodness the bloating has gone now – Ducolax finally shifted that! – how’s everyone else coping?

I feel so bloated as well. The pain isn’t to bad to be honest I’m PO6D now took some ibuarphan today as felt some pain but nothing major. Got my first check up tomorrow which I’m excited / nervous about hoping everything healing ok x
